This is how we do the formal thing here in the U.S. of A.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 6, 2020 11:20 PM |
I do like how they dress the wrestlers of Mongolia.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 6, 2020 11:22 PM |
R9, Looks like his Spanx are a little too tight!
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 6, 2020 11:28 PM |
Uhhmm that easter island dude can ruin me.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 6, 2020 11:51 PM |
R14 I had no idea Germans were so gorgeous! All I know is Joel Grey and those ratfaced Nazis in Cabaret.

Two men getting married in traditional Georgian clothing.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 7, 2020 12:10 AM |
Spanish matadors.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 7, 2020 12:18 AM |
R17 They look like they're dressed in religious vestments. Why is one guy wearing a scabbard and the other guy isn't? Is he the dominant one?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 7, 2020 12:20 AM |
R19, lol, possibly. I believe only one of the grooms is of Georgian descent and he's actually the one on the left without the scabbard.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 7, 2020 12:36 AM |
I'm loving that German dude in R14. His chest is perfection and I love his vein-y arms and the one nipple he's showing.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 7, 2020 12:38 AM |
Does what the German guy is wearing count as lederhosen?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 7, 2020 12:41 AM |
R20 Thanks. I was curious about the scabbard because I was at a traditional wedding in Scotland. All the groomsmen wore beautiful kilts and scabbards. I never saw blades at a wedding ceremony before!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 7, 2020 12:42 AM |
IM WETTTTTTTT
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 7, 2020 12:42 AM |
R22 I don't know about lederhosen, but it looks like a softer version of some kind of leather harness and shorts. Soft and sweet not harsh like leather.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 7, 2020 1:00 AM |
And let's not forget our POTUS showing off his stylish self to the Queen of England!
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 7, 2020 1:08 AM |
R25, thanks for the explanation.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 7, 2020 1:09 AM |
Pretty difficult to beat the pageantry of the Plains tribes'-style headdresses.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 7, 2020 1:22 AM |
R28 Look at those chest pillows! Oh, yes, the headdress is quite attractive also.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 7, 2020 1:25 AM |
Reminds me of when Madonna was into matadors...wow. That had to be 50 years ago!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 7, 2020 1:52 AM |
I think I want to go Thai. Flamboyant, but not trashy, rather classy. And flattering, hiding my problem areas.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 7, 2020 2:02 AM |
R32, I like it.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 7, 2020 2:26 AM |
R35, dapper.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 7, 2020 3:05 AM |
Why, the traditional dress of New Guinea, of course!
A few feathers and some rope, and a gourd over your dick. No actual clothing.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | June 7, 2020 6:51 AM |
R42, hot!
by Anonymous | reply 44 | June 7, 2020 8:43 AM |
R3 I think that's actually something traditional from Sardinia, as he's wearing the traditional black hat that's like a big sock that's rolled up. (Note the photo has an Italian copyright source.)
by Anonymous | reply 45 | June 7, 2020 9:25 AM |
R42 a little peek of pubes would have been the final accessory.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | June 7, 2020 9:25 AM |
Here's another one from Sardinia. They have an annual parade of costumes every year.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | June 7, 2020 9:36 AM |
[quote]Finnish look a bit funny!
R37 Yep. Too much father-and-son ickiness.

I’m Scottish and I wear a kilt for special occasions like weddings. I have the legs and the build to carry it off. It looks terrible on skinny guys. It is traditional not to wear underpants. I have no idea why. I lived in England for many years, and discovered that some tacky English people treat the kilt as a huge joke. At one wedding I had people trying to lift it, and one even stuck a camera under it. Morons.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | June 7, 2020 10:43 AM |
Not exactly sure where to place this. Could be Indian and/or Muslim, maybe Pakistani style? Just going by the look, not by the cultural background, I kinda like it. Straight lines, fitted cut. Very manly in an understated way. And then you bring it all out in the pattern and the colors.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | June 7, 2020 1:21 PM |
2nd one

"I’m Scottish and I wear a kilt for special occasions like weddings. I have the legs and the build to carry it off. It looks terrible on skinny guys. "
I do like a kilt on a man, although around here, my main chance is at the "Celtic Fairs" that real Scotsmen must think hilarious. But it's true, kilts aren't flattering to reedy boys, they look good on a solid build, even on the older guys in the bagpipe bands.
And on the occasional woman. There are a few women in the bands, and they wear the band uniform, which is Scots menswear.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | June 7, 2020 3:32 PM |
very nice, all of them.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | June 7, 2020 3:57 PM |
R54, I'll add yours to my earthquake emergency kit.

R37 dad looks like Perez Hilton 🤮🤮🤮
by Anonymous | reply 61 | June 7, 2020 6:27 PM |
#3 in OP’s picture is obviously the inspiration for Tommi DiDario’s obsession for wearing clothes many sizes too small for him.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | June 7, 2020 6:30 PM |
The traditional menswear of Khazakstan.
I do like a man in a good topcoat and boots! And the matching hat is so fetching.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | June 7, 2020 6:59 PM |
R64 would make great DL caftan-adjacent menswear.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | June 7, 2020 7:03 PM |
R37, I like this Finnish outfit. He looks like a fancy cowboy, or maybe fancy Amish (if that was a thing).
by Anonymous | reply 66 | June 7, 2020 7:10 PM |
Nothing beats a caftan and earrings in my book!
by Anonymous | reply 67 | June 7, 2020 7:16 PM |
R50 I really love kilts, I also very much like the more modern ones(no plaid). There are so many nice kilts these days. I have been charmed by more than one Scotsman and no regrets there. Sorry about the way some English people still treat Scots. They can't seem to let you go, a loveless marriage where the English husband is an abuser.

R68, are you saying you would like Mr. Easter Island to Rapa your Nui?
by Anonymous | reply 70 | June 8, 2020 1:38 AM |
My impression is that these fine fellows could all be dressed in bin bags tied with rope belts and we’d all still approve.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | June 8, 2020 2:37 PM |
More Easter Island man please

Traditional riding dress from Andalucia. One can see guys dressed like this in Jerez, Sevilla, etc. Different riding clubs/family ranches wear different colors. Very hot tight pants

R83 hot

More total nudity would be fine, but then how can it be traditional clothing, ummmmm?
by Anonymous | reply 89 | June 9, 2020 9:56 PM |
Wear perfume.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | June 9, 2020 10:13 PM |
Actually, traditional Tahitian clothing is made of tapa cloth, and shows zero bulge.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | June 9, 2020 11:20 PM |
Yes, I know. But I chose to take liberties and provide more Datalounge-friendly content.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | June 9, 2020 11:24 PM |
R94, all of the island nations seem to have a leg up when it comes to skimpy, revealing menswear.
