I don't understand why everyone was so nonplussed that Phyllis was one of the CBS morning show anchors. After all, Good Morning America started out with actors Nancy Dussault and David Hartman, and Nancy couldn't read a teleprompter without stumbling to save her life. Then there's the case of NBC replacing Jane Pauley with the younger Deborah Norville...
