Do you notice your breath under your face mask?
At first, I thought it was the smell of the fabric of my face mask.
Now I've switched to disposal masks, so pretty sure the smell is my own.
It's hard to identify -- not sweet, not bad or offensive ... just very distinct.
Am I weird? Have you noticed the smell of your own breath?
And yes, I have good oral hygiene.

I find that my breath smells offensive when I wear my mask for a long period of time unless I put on the mask right after brushing my teeth.
If I eat or drink anything and put on the mask, it takes about 30 minutes before I notice the smell, which is an amplified version of whatever I ate or drank.
It’s easily solved by using mouthwash after I eat or a mint which I usually do anyway.
And no, I don’t have a stinky mouth it bad oral hygiene.

Bad breath isn't always caused by bad oral hygiene. Sometimes it's because of your stomach/gut. Have you ever considered fasting for a period of time to clean out your system? There are lots of videos about it on YouTube.
