One day when they were filming the Waltons, I saw her in line at the WB cafeteria. She was right in front of me ordering lunch. She had a cigarette butt hanging off her lower lip.
Quite a surprize from the image she played as Grandma Walton.

I saw her in an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents playing an old lady. She was in her 40s at the time.
