She's trying. Both she and Fauci correct him as politely as possible. She made them correct last week's briefing report where she was originally portrayed as confirming what he had said.

Maybe behind the scenes she is helping to temper Trump's worst impulses but she's said nothing of substance in any press conference I've seen.

When Jake Tapper asked her today, what people should know about disinfectant, she launched into a long-winded excuse and explanation of what Trump meant.

All she had to do was give a simple answer about what people should know about the disinfectants, e.g., “Disinfectants are for external use only. You can use liquid disinfectants like Lysol or bleach, diluted on hard surfaces or in your washing machine. There is nothing you can swallow that will prevent covid.”

But, instead she blathered on and answered a question no one asked.

Fuck her. She had a chance to impart information to the public and she wasted her time on excusing her boss.

And it’s absolutely pathetic, hearing an elderly woman speak with vocal fry.

I don’t think she’s is wealthy at all. I bet she lives in a cluttered shack and never takes her trash out. She looks like she has twigs in her hair and shops at goodwill.

She’s been on a government salary for years and a military stipend before that. I wouldn’t be surprised if they pulled her out from behind a dumpster in Logan circle.
