Beautiful creatures! The video is incorrect, two kilos is the usual weight of the females (around 4- 4.5 lbs), with the males being slightly larger.

This is why I’ll never get the whole ‘owning cats is feminine/ weak ‘ bullshit. Cats are obligate carnivores that are more badass as hunter-predators than dogs. If house cats were bigger they’d be illegal to own because of how dangerous they’d be. If cats had opposable thumbs along with bigger size then humans would be fucked.
But cats are so cute in appearance and funny, dorky with their own cat logic that it just makes their innate deadliness all the more fascinating. Mark Twain the ultimate cat man, put it best when he said “ When a man loves cats, I am his friend and comrade, without further introduction.”

R4 Where did you get that info? Wiki says females weigh between 1.1 to 1.65 kg (2.4 to 3.6 lb) and males 1.6 and 2.45 kg (3.5 and 5.4 lb)
