Both Kim Kardashain and Beyonce were invited to it and attended. Anyway, it was either in this article or elsewhere were the reporter, between the lines, strongly implied that it's generally acknowledged that Beyonce avoids the Kardashians and dislikes all of them, especially Kim Kardashian West.

And that the reasons Beyonce had for that had to do with Kim Kardashian doing everything she could do with her money to look like an African American.

Anyway, it just got me thinking about about the cultural appropriation and now, the OP's title here tunes into that.

Did you read your own article? Yeezy is one of the most popular fashion brands on the planet. It’s in conjunction with Adidas, but without him there is no Yeezy. As a tastemaker and influencer, he also helped launch their biggest hit sneaker ever called Adidas Boost which along with the Yeezy helped turned the company around when Nike used to kill them in market share and brand awareness.

Adidas clearly wants to keep him designing shoes exclusively for them, so they’re paying him gobs of money and company shares just like Nike does with Michael Jordan (another billionaire). I mean how much more can it be spelled out?
