Something you don't seem to get is that Blind Items tend to have some clue in them that isn't right...either an out and out lie or something that is a misdirection from reality. The goal is to titillate the reader but to also cover your ass from getting sued.

In this case, the big "tell" is the use of the descriptor "The Greatest" which could refer to Muhammad Ali (known as The Greatest) thus it could be Will Smith who fits the clues though the "young" is very subjective. But, "The Greatest" could also be the "The Greatest Showman" starring Hugh Jackman who again, isn't exactly young.

Then there's the whole premise this is supposed to be someone really GOOD at being in the closet and both Smith and Jackman have been much rumored about for decades.
