She was the female Dane Cook. She had a huge rise, played arenas, headlined movies and then the backlash commenced.

Her act was really one-note. "I'm a drunk slut who hates my body" x1000. That was it. And an act like that has a short shelf life, you age out pretty quickly with that kind of material.

I thought her show "Inside Amy Schumer" was rather amusing; her last stand-up special on Netflix though was terrible. I like her personality, but R25 is absolutely correct. She wore out her angle, didn't adapt, and then tried (and failed) to start a movie career. I wouldn't be surprised if she never does stand-up again. She's probably made more than enough money to live comfortably for the rest of her life. Her husband is also rather cute, Aspergers or not.

"Inside Amy Schumer" was funny because it had a team of writers. It wasn't just Amy Schumer writing the sketches.

She doesn't look that much fatter to me than she normally does. Schumer has always lied about her size and weight. Last time she claimed she was a size 6, she looked like a size 12 or 14.
