Not in a million years.

Sucked! I don’t want to see wedding vows exchanged in a finale. Fuck off! This season was dreadful!

They should rename this show David’s Crack

David, our prissy fashionista, started out the show banging the female motel receptionist almost from the beginning because he was so straight (as if that was at all believable). Then the show got the idea to pander to the gays and suddenly he wasn’t straight anymore. They even had David, the I-can’t-be-defined-by-labels total top pussy destroyer, hookup with a dude (who was wayyyyyyyy out of his league) that he met randomly at a party. And now he’s getting married? Like this flamboyant queen could be in a relationship with someone that wasn’t herself. Please.
The Rose’s “being poor is a new experience for us” schtick got played out really fast and every joke seems to be centered around them being maladjusted to “peasant life.” The characters lack depth and nothing ever really happens to bring the story to life. 0/10.

That's kind of how I felt, R4. I never could get into the show, yet I know people who thought it was the best thing ever. I watched a few episodes here and there, and watched the finale. David getting a handy from a masseuse on his wedding day? I see his character had just as much depth as it did in season one.

They couldn't give Patrick's parents one line. They even cut out his mom walking down the aisle.

I wonder if this is how dan feels about commitment IRL..... Noah Reid is giving him some side eye during the sex vs loyalty chatter.

I wish Alexis would’ve had more to do this season, she was one of the main reasons I watched the show. The whole “Twyla is a multi-million dollar lottery winner” was just silly - they managed to jump the shark before the finale. Disappointed they didn’t give Joslyn a decent hairstyle by the time it went off the air.
It was a cute show but I’m not expecting great things from Dan Levy, acting or writing wise.

This season only had a few good episodes. I still ff over the parts with Chris Elliott. But I think they did a good job with the finale.

This show: SO much less than the sum of its parts. "Cabaret?" Done without irony? WTF? Wanted to like the show, but it was consistantly disappointing. And Chris Elliot is unwatchable.

The only thing I cared about was Catherine O'Hara's dialogue. The rest of the show -- not terribly interesting.
