I always thought John Taylor was the cutest. When they released the "Ordinary World" album in '93 I couldn't believe this was the same band that made songs Like "Rio" and "Hungry Like the Wolf" which I didn't really go for. Definitely will have a listen.

They were an uneven band...when they released Rio they were kind of new wave / new romantic. Then they went total power pop - which was quite cheesy - and redeemed themselves in the early 90's with Ordinary World and Come Undone.

Taylor married the fabulous Amanda de Cadenet. They were the "It" couple for a while.

I also had a huge crush on John Taylor. My brother subscribed to Circus magazine. It was normally a heavy metal/glam rock music magazine, but for some random reason it had the lyrics to The Reflex and that's the first song I ever learned the lyrics too.

Here's something you should know....

I liked Save a Prayer, Hungry Like the Wold, Rio, Girls on Film (their best), Planet Earth, and Come Undone, Ordinary World.

I saw them in Hyde Park in the lead up to the London Olympics. They were fabulous!

Jon Moss was the adorbs-ist! I remember meeting them in Toronto twice, at a record store signing (WHET those?) and the original City TV studios on Queen East. I was a big gay Durani fan until 13.

Great documentary especially if you are a fan. They come accross (except for Andy) as very likable.
