Funny, Wirth was the least appealing of them all to me, although he is quite good-looking - maybe I just found him a bit too intimidating. Teenagers kind of sacred me (bullying victim at the time). Alex looked cute and cute was what I was interested in back then, I guess.

So do I, because I suspect that the homoeroticism that some of you see between the two brothers came from the film's gay director, not the actor. Because as I noted above, the whole fucking film REEKS of homoerotic tension, and the plot is centered around a subtext gay relationship. So if the brothers stand too close or are too handsy, the likeliest explanation is that the director told them to play it that way, because he wanted to make a homoerotic movie.
