You are even fatter than my daughter Tiffany.

by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 24, 2020 7:54 AM |
She blocked me on Twitter back around the time Going Clear came out. When she claimed she’d fight for everyone’s religious freedoms, I asked if she’d fight for the religious rights of squirrels.

She still thinks John T. is straight. She's an idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 24, 2020 8:03 AM |
Kirstie, are you still cutting out the labels from your Lane Bryant tents and replacing them with “Prada”?

From wikipedia:
[quote] In August 2015 Alley tweeted that she would not be supporting Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee during the 2016 presidential elections, and on April 8, 2016, she tweeted her support for Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani.[30][31] On October 8, 2016, Alley retracted her endorsement of Trump, tweeting, "I hate this election and I'm officially no longer endorsing either candidate."[32] She has publicly voiced her opposition to spanking and other forms of corporal punishment on many occasions, most notably on the Howard Stern Show[33] in 2013, when Stern and his co-host Robin Quivers also voiced their own opposition to spanking children.

On the contrary, he's making a mess of things. Without his rallies and Mar-a-Lago, he will eventually snap and do something so egregious no one but his most hardcore Nazis and Christian Supremacists will stick by him.
He wants to be onstage and on camera for the praise and glory, but he knows nothing and bluffs his way with his 'incredibles' and 'amazings' and his poor vocabulary. He looks more foolish than ever.
Biden needs to take this and run with it. Set-up a daily harangue against the Trump administration's failures, be the angry voice of The People. Remind everyone how Dotard did everything he could to destroy Obamacare.

I never got that impression once we found out what they were really like. I always thought they were right-wing. They're very wealthy and self-serving.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 24, 2020 4:10 PM |
Not just Alley, but the tone of all this kowtowing to the Great Leader is one of the most disturbing things about the Trump Era... I understand the motivations of the different kinds of Trump supporters: 1) racists, white supremacists, xenophobes 2) grievance warriors against a perceived elite 3) self-serving anarchist capitalists - deregulation, sell public land, profits above people 4) corrupt criminals using government for private gain ... I can "understand", but not agree with, all those motivations. But this devotion, which appears to be sincere, baffles me. He is a joke, an embarrassment - how do "rational" people perform this subservient adoration? It's Mao, Great Leader, Hitler.... it's just so creepy.

It is really strange the power Rump has over people. I have a former friend who hated Reagan, voted for Bill. We became estranged for over 20 years and I believe he is trying to be another person when we started talking again. He doesnt bad mouth Rump like any rational person should. When I tell him to say something bad about the Orange Shit Stain he says he is arrogant and i say that is a complement to a businessman. I say his press conferences are all about what a good job he is doing and he says if anyone else was president they couldn't do better. He says he is in an idiot but not evil. I say Cuomo is doing a great job and he is a Democrat. He says sarcastically of course. He really sounds like someone who watches Fox News and believes everything.
I think about becoming estranged again but he is about the only one I can have conversations with. I used to think he was a constant liar and he does lie alot but now i think he is not authentic. He becomes the person he thinks his husband wants him to be. He turned against the Democrats when he had to pay high taxes on a small business he had and he is in a higher tax bracket since his husband i assume makes good money. He swears he voted for Hilary but believes she is a crook and won't listen to anything that says Rump is one.

No it isn't. There will always be weak-minded people who look for a charismatic daddy-type to follow. It happens over and over again.

tRump is now trying to out do Cuomo, he is jealous that Cuomo is gaining popularity with his press conferences
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 25, 2020 11:56 AM |
Lost interest in her when Oprah gave her a multi thousand dollar free kitchen make-over. Oprah could have done ten normal kitchen make-over to deserving people over a rich one.

I wonder about this too and I think it's because he is so raw in his neediness that his fans want to give him the over the top praise he is so desperate for.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 25, 2020 12:48 PM |
If Kirstie gets COVID-19 it's not a bad thing: the virus could feast on her for a while and lose some its virulency. That host will take a while to kill.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 25, 2020 1:03 PM |
She was hilarious in Fat Actress. She has some talent. She has a right to her political views. I don't agree with them, but the mean attacks reflects more on the person making them.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 25, 2020 1:39 PM |
R53 what a waste of money. Was Kirstie broke??
by Anonymous | reply 57 | March 25, 2020 1:56 PM |
R56 False morality. It's the internet and social media. We have a heightened toxic environment, by any reasoned assessment fostered more by Reactionary racist forces (Obama with a bone through his hair, Michelle as a monkey, Obama a socialist born in Africa - that thinking then became President in 2016). Allen puts out the obsequious praise for Great Leader. Responses to that in a social media space like this does absolutely no harm to her.
"Be nice".... Heidegger, Charles Lindbergh, Ezra Pound, Henry Ford, Father Coughlin... all praising the rise of fascism in the 30s. Would that more response to that then... perhaps there would have been no Shoah. To many, that resistance is more moral than "be nice... she has a right to her political opinions."
by Anonymous | reply 58 | March 25, 2020 3:17 PM |
R43 - I think it's because both politicians and media/social networking have done an excellent job of polarizing people. It's Dubya's old "you're with us or against us" mantra. It's so black and white, and single issues wedge people I think more than ever. I know people who support Trump just because they actually (erroneously) believe he's against abortion - they feel they have no other choice but vote their conscience. The US desperately needs more parties.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | March 25, 2020 3:25 PM |
I like how she laughs that she didn't post to listen to people chime in. That's literally why you tweet, moron.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | March 25, 2020 3:27 PM |
Maybe someone should tell Kirstie’s dumb ass that she should be writing love letters to the doctors, nurses, and the other people on the frontlines who are actually doing the work and putting their lives on the line instead of praising a piece of shit (like herself) who does nothing but ramble nonsense.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | March 25, 2020 3:30 PM |
[quote]what a waste of money. Was Kirstie broke??
Even if she was, so what, it was a fine kitchen that would have lasted her years to come., She just didn't like it.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | March 25, 2020 4:24 PM |
Have an political opinion and praising Rump is not the same. There is no black and white in this area.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | March 25, 2020 4:25 PM |
She’s really old. She must be pushing 70 now.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | March 25, 2020 4:28 PM |
R58, the people who say what R56 did, ignore that Trump has engaged in racism and bigotry, ignore that those tiki torch scum were encouraged by him, ignore that he only seems to tweet about a crime when it's committed by a brown person thousands of miles away solely to foment hate towards others including American citizens who nothing to do with it, ignores the fact that he retweets white supremacists, ignores all of the corruption and violations of the admin.
They simply don't care and act as though it never happened and continue to normalize it. They pretend we're talking about disagreeing about funding the arts when we're talking about someone who has emboldened white supremacists and using tax money to fund his own businesses.
People like R56 mistake their apathy for "common sense." Because nothing says common sense like normalizing a man who demonizes so many innocent people at every opportunity and puts a target on their backs through his rhetoric.
[quote]She has a right to her political views. I don't agree with them, but the mean attacks reflects more on the person making them.
And yet, you wrote this, missing the irony that you defended what you call her "political views" which are in defense of Trump who only does "mean attacks" -mostly vile racism and bigotry- and yet, you feel that doesn't reflect on HER or you for ignoring that fact?
by Anonymous | reply 65 | March 25, 2020 5:19 PM |
I hate that she supports Trump and that she's a crazy Scientologist. She clearly has a thing for cults. It's a shame, because she's a great actress with a flair for comedy and she was quite beautiful back in the day. It's always easier to shrug off the no-talent crazies like Kristy Swanson and Kirk Cameron, but the ones with legitimate talent just make me sad.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | March 25, 2020 5:23 PM |
R53, wtf?! That' was such a dumb move on Oprah's part. Yes, let's remodel a rich person's kitchen, they need all the help they can get.
