Eric Blore and Franklin Pangborn also send their regards.

He was talented and very entertaining. Ditto for Blore and Pangborn! I don't think we have anyone like them around to day -Character actors who can be counted on to enliven whatever brief moments they are given in a film. And do it with a gay flair.

I had to look them up. Oh yes, another two fine character actors from the past. They were in the first Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire movie, Flying Down to Rio.
