RIP. He was an incredibly handsome man.
" So young."

Lyle Waggoner! Immortalized in my mind for delivering one of the best insult jokes on The Golden Girls.
Sonny Bono:"Ohh, insults from Lyle Waggoner. How many solid gold records do you own?"
Lyle: "None. I was never married!"
But Dorothy was right, I would've picked Sonny. Image

I always enjoyed watching him the opening credits of Wonder Woamn with his teeth gleaming. He had such a nice smile.

R2 Here's that pic with the annoying watermark on it.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 17, 2020 7:51 PM |
Very handsome, and apparently a pretty good guy too. He was one of my first crushes as a kid watching Wonder Woman.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 17, 2020 7:54 PM |
I masturbated to that photo of him in Playgirl when I was a teen.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 17, 2020 7:55 PM |
Weird. I never found him at all handsome. He looked like a used car saleman.
To each, their own. You can have him.

R8 Is that Tan Mom?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 17, 2020 8:09 PM |
Any gossip from when he was on Carol Burnett?
I wonder how he got along with Harvey Korman, who could be an asshole.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 17, 2020 8:11 PM |
I've always had a positive impression of him, he seemed like a great guy. Don't much about him, though, beyond the Carol Burnett show.
Good looking man who aged well.

Check out the bronze sculptures he's made.
Interesting . . .
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 17, 2020 8:37 PM |
Here he is with his wife, Sharon Kennedy. They were married in 1961, which makes her about 80 now. They looks amazing.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 17, 2020 8:40 PM |
Trump supporter.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 17, 2020 8:52 PM |
He was a funny guy. Watching him try to keep it together in scenes with Carol Burnett was priceless.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 17, 2020 8:53 PM |
Did he have the corona?
Pussy hound/big Trump supporter, R17?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 17, 2020 8:55 PM |
R15 That's some hilarious kitsch!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 17, 2020 8:55 PM |
Funny--he was around 40 when he posed for Playgirl.

That was 15 years ago though, R16. They did look amazing in 2005, though.

Maybe I could say "though" more often! Needs more "though!"

Only blandly good looking in my books (and I scanned through loads of Google Image photos), but his more recent photos hints that all old white guys turn into Bob Barker at a certain point.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 18, 2020 11:56 AM |
ABC World News Tonight did a blurb about Lyle's death on Tuesday night's show. However, anchor David Muir called him Kyle Waggoner. OUCH.

RIP. These elderly people who are passing now before this disaster really impacts the healthcare system are actually kind of lucky in a weird way. I worry about those who are left and struggling.

He was a right-wing Repug. And so is Vicki Lawrence.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 18, 2020 12:17 PM |
Mine too, R9. I can remember him from "The Carol Burnett Show" on Saturday nights. This little gayling got all tingly whenever there was a skit with him in it. When he was in "Wonder Woman," it was around the time I was in seventh, eighth grades, and freshman in high school, he fueled many a fantasy, especially if he got tied up on the show.
Major Steve Trevor...Requiescat in pace!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 18, 2020 12:31 PM |
r29 here. Just Googled. Vicki Lawrence in an interview in 2016 said that Trump is "An embarrassment to America, and an embarrassment to good guys". So, that's a relief. Love her. Jacked off to Lyle so many times in the 70's, but sadly, he remained a repug.

I'm sorry your young jiz wasn't enough to save him R31. At least you tried (again and again and again, I'm sure). I was right there with you though. I bet there were dozens and dozens of us. If only we could have united. Jacking at the same time to bring him over, like clapping (flapping) to bring Tinkerbelle back to life. We might have done it.

Oh well, better than turning into Bill Cosby.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 18, 2020 1:44 PM |
Maybe we can jack off simultaneously at an agreed time, R32, as a memorial to Lyle Waggoner.
Around 10 to 15 years ago, the "Today Show" hosted weddings for couples, after the couples had gone through a contest of sorts. One featured wedding was of the son of Lyle Waggoner. He was quite handsome. He had gone into business with his father, providing trailers for film locations.

Who remembers the sketch in which Tim Conway was a Nazi interrogating Lyle, an American soldier. Boy, Lyle looked so snazzy in a uniform.
And once in a great while, he would do a shirtless bit.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 18, 2020 4:11 PM |
R37, did you not ever see episodes of Wonder Woman? He was in uniform most of the time.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 18, 2020 5:00 PM |
[quote] And so is Vicki Lawrence.
She's not. She rips on him (and Kelly Ann Conway) in her "two" woman show - as Mama!!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 18, 2020 5:16 PM |
Does she talk about Lyle’s cock or Bubba’s massive bulge in her two woman show?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 18, 2020 5:44 PM |
r40 who do you think the other woman is in the show?? Bubba's big dick in a wig.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 18, 2020 6:55 PM |
Lyle Wesley Waggoner (April 13, 1935 – March 17, 2020) was an American actor and model, known for his work on The Carol Burnett Show from 1967 to 1974, and for playing the role of Steve Trevor and Steve Trevor Jr. on Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 18, 2020 7:33 PM |
R40 She talks about how Allan Kayser used to walk around on the set of Mama's Family naked with his dick swingin'. She also sang the theme from Mama's Family, which she actually wrote.
