Domino's Pizza seems to be making bank

No doubt considering they're not a sit-down restaurant. Their business is entirely delivery.

I read somewhere that they are one of the few companies hiring for delivery drivers.

No one should be out jetting around all over the place.

Yes, OP. And not because they're primarily a delivery and takeout business, but because, in recent years they've invested HEAVILY in technology. They're sometimes referred to as a tech company that happens to sell pizza. They will weather this storm better than most national chains.

Gross. The world could end tomorrow and all of my food rations could mysteriously evaporate into a puff of smoke and I still wouldn't subject myself to eating that greasy cardboard.

That’s the thing - there will be some major winners from this. Deservedly or not. Take out pizza is a big one. Supermarkets. Clorox. TV. Movie downloads. New Netflix subscriptions.

As long as you don't compare it to actual pizza Domino's can be a treat.

They built a second dominos in my town and it does have some tables for sit down. IDK, they've clearly bested their nemesis Pizza Hut but their pizza is just Ok. There's not one pizza joint that i just have to have so i end up settling for little ceasars just because it's $5

Aw, fuck them! My BF waited an hour and a half for a forty-five minute delivery before he called them and told them to stick their pizza up their ass!!

I've only had Dominos twice in my life, and both times I got a case of the explosive shits that lasted all night. Never again with Dominos.

The pizza isn't so great but I do like their chocolate/peanut butter brownies.

Why are people eating out right now? I can’t even imagine how many people touched that pizza box or coughed on it. Learn to cook, people!

If you had bought their stock in 2009, you would be doing very well (until the recent crash). It was like $3 in 2009 and hit a high of almost $400.

I know it is [italic]de rigueur[/italic] to rag on Domino's, but the one near me is actually pretty good. Although the pepperoni could be spicier, the crust, the cheese, and the sauce are very flavorful. 9 times out of 10 it is cooked perfectly and it usually gets to my door within a few minutes of leaving the store.

It's not the best pizza I've ever had -- but it is far from being the worst.

R28 , I was wondering & actually kind of worried (Mary!) about the Amazon workers. I order a lot from Amazon, even before this pandemic. Take care of yourself. I hope you can get some money saved with all of those work hours.

work for amazon/wholefoods too and we dont get masks nor gloves and we've run out of sanitizer. Terrified everytime I go into work. Like full on panic attacks.
