They will probably be one of the better-positioned companies who might weather the storm better than others..

No doubt considering they're not a sit-down restaurant. Their business is entirely delivery.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 17, 2020 2:26 AM |
I read somewhere that they are one of the few companies hiring for delivery drivers.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 17, 2020 2:35 AM |
No one should be out jetting around all over the place.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 17, 2020 2:36 AM |
If my choice is order delivery from Dominos or starve to death, I’ll make a somewhat attractive corpse.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 17, 2020 2:39 AM |
Yes, OP. And not because they're primarily a delivery and takeout business, but because, in recent years they've invested HEAVILY in technology. They're sometimes referred to as a tech company that happens to sell pizza. They will weather this storm better than most national chains.

Gross. The world could end tomorrow and all of my food rations could mysteriously evaporate into a puff of smoke and I still wouldn't subject myself to eating that greasy cardboard.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 17, 2020 2:46 AM |
That’s the thing - there will be some major winners from this. Deservedly or not. Take out pizza is a big one. Supermarkets. Clorox. TV. Movie downloads. New Netflix subscriptions.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 17, 2020 3:08 AM |
As long as you don't compare it to actual pizza Domino's can be a treat.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 17, 2020 3:57 AM |
They built a second dominos in my town and it does have some tables for sit down. IDK, they've clearly bested their nemesis Pizza Hut but their pizza is just Ok. There's not one pizza joint that i just have to have so i end up settling for little ceasars just because it's $5
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 17, 2020 4:03 AM |
Aw, fuck them! My BF waited an hour and a half for a forty-five minute delivery before he called them and told them to stick their pizza up their ass!!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 17, 2020 4:15 AM |
I’ll be happy to cook up and deliver your pizza! *cough*
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 17, 2020 4:19 AM |
I've only had Dominos twice in my life, and both times I got a case of the explosive shits that lasted all night. Never again with Dominos.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 17, 2020 4:29 AM |
I’ll have a large, thin crust with ham, bacon and pepperoni please.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 17, 2020 4:35 AM |
The pizza isn't so great but I do like their chocolate/peanut butter brownies.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 17, 2020 6:08 AM |
Why are people eating out right now? I can’t even imagine how many people touched that pizza box or coughed on it. Learn to cook, people!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 17, 2020 10:36 AM |
I forget which country it is -- South Korea? -- where they have food service workers' temperature taken..

Pics please.

If you had bought their stock in 2009, you would be doing very well (until the recent crash). It was like $3 in 2009 and hit a high of almost $400.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 17, 2020 4:07 PM |
Their stuffed cheesy bread is soo good.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 17, 2020 4:11 PM |
The delivery boys cough into every pizza
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 17, 2020 4:15 PM |
R20, lol.

Suddenly the scenario about fucking the pizza delivery guy is not that appealing
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 17, 2020 8:18 PM |
their online orders or pizzas are all 50 percent off this week
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 17, 2020 8:24 PM |
I would be scared to be one of their deliverymen.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 18, 2020 4:12 AM |
Why?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 18, 2020 4:29 AM |
Forget the pizza, I order salads from Dominos, usually with wings
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 18, 2020 4:31 AM |
This thread made me order a pan pizza from them tonight.

I work for Amazon and we're hiring 100K new workers plus are on mandatory 60 hour work weeks.
Also they gave everyone a temporary $2/hour raise.

I know it is [italic]de rigueur[/italic] to rag on Domino's, but the one near me is actually pretty good. Although the pepperoni could be spicier, the crust, the cheese, and the sauce are very flavorful. 9 times out of 10 it is cooked perfectly and it usually gets to my door within a few minutes of leaving the store.
It's not the best pizza I've ever had -- but it is far from being the worst.

This I agree with. Costco pizza and Pizza Hut are worse!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 18, 2020 4:50 AM |
I like their sandwiches. They're nice and big, and hot, and melty!

R28 , I was wondering & actually kind of worried (Mary!) about the Amazon workers. I order a lot from Amazon, even before this pandemic. Take care of yourself. I hope you can get some money saved with all of those work hours.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 18, 2020 5:28 AM |
R28, are they giving you gloves/sanitizers, etc
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 18, 2020 5:48 AM |
Domino's exists merely to prevent Little Caesar's from being one place higher on the quality list of American pizza chains.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 18, 2020 6:05 AM |
R34, lol
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 18, 2020 4:31 PM |
Dear Lord in Heaven!!
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 19, 2020 7:53 PM |
The pizza delivery guy said they don't need a signature because of the "new procedures"
He was totally hot. So he handed it to me and didn't come into the house.
I don't like to use the word "rape" because that's ugly.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 19, 2020 10:43 PM |
work for amazon/wholefoods too and we dont get masks nor gloves and we've run out of sanitizer. Terrified everytime I go into work. Like full on panic attacks.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
