‘Hawaii Five-0′ to End After 10 Seasons, Series Finale Will Air in April

CBS has announced that Hawaii Five-0 will end this year after 10 seasons on the air.

Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan have been with the show throughout the entire series and their contracts end with the current season.

Alex suffered a back injury during one of the early seasons and he still is dealing with the pain from that accident. While he felt able to continue through season 10, he decided it was not possible to do additional seasons, according to Deadline.

Instead of finding a new star to replace Alex on the show, CBS decided it was time to end the series.

“This show has been pretty much every waking moment for the last 10 years of my life,” Alex said in a statement. “Everywhere I go on this planet, in every language, I am McGarrett to all these people. What we’ve done, what we’ve accomplished, it’s extraordinary. I can’t really put words to express my level of gratitude. I’m just glad to have been a part of this, a part of history and I’m going to miss it. And to the fans, I don’t know how to thank you guys. Thank you for following us the way you have. I’m going to miss you. Aloha.”

The series finale will be a two-hour episode airing on Friday, April 3.

Did Alex ever fuck Scott?

I’ve made my husband suffer through every episode of this. Everybody is so attractive and I love the scenery.

This current season has gay innuendos all over the place, plus unintentional (or intentional?) homoeroticism everywhere.

Gay Jay Hernandez guested last month on a crossover from 'Magnum, P.I.,' and Alex and Jay were flirting with each other insanely. So hot!

R2, Yes, the scenery.

Can't believe it's been ten years since the series started.

Remember all the threads and speculation about Scott Caan when the show started??

I've watched it all. Their version of James Bond was Harry Langford. I liked his few episodes a lot.

Wow this must have been a hard show, because those two men looked absolutely stunning when I watched this the first year, now they look ridden hard and put away wet.

I didn't even know they did another version after the Jack Lord/ James MacArthur show.
