Connor was already referring to Miles as his boyfriend in November of 2018, when he said he called him to tell him he got the Locke and Key part. They were already traveling to visit eachother by August of 2018. So this either moved really fast or they started dating in spring of 2018, as we suspected.

If I understood this guidelines and I'm reading now the Standards on living persons biography, as of right now, you can write that Connor and Miles are dating, which is out and referenced by a reputable source, the NYT, but you can't say that Miles is gay. That's what I got from reading it so far. So strange.

Is Is Locke and key any good? I wanna know before I give it a chance

If so it doesn’t cost you anything different one way or another to check it out whether you are going to like it or not. If you don’t subscribe I would say wait this one out until there’s a another season at least and what the reviews are, it’s not a got to join show.

It's not very well plotted or well observed in terms of character but it's somewhat diverting. It looks good and the cast do mostly good work.
