Do you think she would have made it with her original trunk ?
Why did you post this twice?

She was the textbook definition of a movie star. So yes. Pretty dumb question, OP.

Good catch, OP.
Still a pretty girl, but that doesn't look quite like the nose we know and love.

What was her ethnicity?

How did she feel about her White privilege ?

R1 there was not enough room for the real nose in 1 thread

According to celeb ethnicity she was pan european. Dutch mother and English/German father.

Even her son said she had to be carefully lit and posed to be pretty.

A Dutch, English and German combo platter does not a "pan-European" make. That's called a "White Bread and Herring with Mustard" channel plate.
That's like calling the Prince of Wales a pan-European. (No, he's not Greek.)

R7, you're full of shit. She's lovely in that picture. What a jealous bitch you are.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 17, 2020 5:34 PM |
It looks like she kept the general shape of her nose, but had it shortened a bit and reduced the width even more. It's a good nose job.
Her eyes and smile are beautiful as ever at R7.
Cosmetic surgeons and beauty professionals, please weigh in.

Her crazed fascist mother, Baroness van heemstra fucked Hitler -- or at least played with him. She was observed coming out of his office all hot and sweaty with her clothing in disarray. That's not a story Hollywood liked to share.

Looking at these pics made me realize how common nose jobs are today. Not just in the entertainment industry. I'm fully convinced that a good percentage of young, single women get their noses worked on. and they all look the same.

This article mentions her mother, and says Audrey worked for the Dutch Resistance.

Needed the nose job to become the star she became. So many stars have nose jobs. Noses read bigger on screen. I’d say most female stars have had nose jobs amongst other work and many men have had their noses done as well. Cosmetic surgery has always been extremely common in Hollywood well before the talkies. Breast implants, cheek implants and chin implants too. Take a look at Cary Grant. They tweaked his nose and chin a little.

Case in point: Michelle Pfeiffer, before and after.
The nose job is just one example. She's had additional cosmetic procedures.

"Needed the nose job to become the star she became."
No, R18, she didn't.

I recall something of an Edith Head quote that Audrey H was perfect from all angles.
