The Queen's cousin. Dead at 30 in a plane crash. Was very sensitive and a momma's boy, apparently.
What do we know about Prince William of Gloucester?

Well, I was talking to Myrtle. She's the greeter at the Walmart where the old cement factory used to be. Anyway, she says William came in and brought some adult diapers. Not bought. Brought! Left a whole package minus one diaper right there in cosmetics aisle.
It was all anybody could talk about at the McDonalds. Well that, and they ran out of hot sauce packets.
I don't care if it's in a Walmart, but what kind of McDonalds runs out of hot sauce packets?
A bad one is what I think.

OP, in my early morning bleary eyed haze, I for a moment thought you were referring to Prince George, the Queen's uncle, who was killed in an air crash in 1942. That brings to mind whether that particular smash up was an accident or he was got rid of due to his louche lifestyle.

Only hotter, and with hair.

He and his younger brother, Prince Richard, resembled each other (although Richard was usually seen wearing glasses even when younger).

The current Duke of Gloucester Richard and his wife the Duchess of Gloucester are both in their seventies and do a heck of a lot of royal engagements without showboating and fanfare. Pretty much the opposite of Harry and Meghan.
They are really underappreciated and a huge asset to the Queen.
