Unfortunately within about 5 years Hawke was skinny and greasy, Law was bald and ratty and Uma had a masculinising nose job.
But at least in GATTACA we got to enjoy them looking as beautiful as 1940s film stars

It's a lovely film in very many respects, and a favorite of mine.

Wasn't Gore Vidal in it too?

With a slight whiff of [italic]Hitlerjugend[/italic]:

Not only Gore Vidal, but Ernest Borgnine as a janitor.

I love Gattaca. Jude was so handsome (not my type but I get beauty) it was silly.

R5: That was strange, but in a scene with the two of them is found a favorite frame from the film: a ridiculously goofus, twisted mouth grin from Hawke looking skyward at his dream.

But they didn't exactly show off their naked bodies in that one, did they?

Wasn’t Loren Dean in this?

Whatever happened to Loren Dean?

r4, yeah, considering it's a film about eugenics.

I keep looking for Ethen Hawke’s WWII movie but I can’t find it anywhere. He was pretty there, too.

Snow Falling On Cedar?

This movie is a favorite of mine and I agree, those three were never lovelier. The production design is outstanding. And don’t forget the great performance by Tony Shalhoub.

Xander Berkeley who played Dr. Lamar (of the blood and piss tests and noticing Vincent's left-handedness) gives a really beautiful performance.

Great film and yes - they were all very sexy in those days. (not so much now - but we all age...)

Love the musical score of the film.

The crossing scene made me so anxious I remember it to this day. Those cars are beautiful as well.

Loved the film and for me that's a high compliment because I can't bear Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman on screen. Can't explain it but they're like fingernails on a chalkboard for me. But Jude Law, lawd, he made this movie everything. I'm not a sci-fi fan at all but I love sci-fi-ish movies like Gattaca. Set in the near future but not focused on action and special effects.

R15, I will always remember him first as adult Christopher in "Mommie Dearest"
