They act like they never been fired before. Chandler was "let go" in mid 2013 in a similar underhanded way, and he did not return until 2017. Freddie was off contract in 2015 after Faux Will was strangled to death and was off the show for months only to return in 2016.

I was Strudel's biggest supporter. I'd wanted him to return as Will rather than Chandler. But not after I saw what he'd done to himself, effectively divorcing himself from an acting career.

I strongly believe that Chandler can have a decent career, if he gets the right break. He should have gotten out of soaps a long time ago. It's pilot season, he needs to start auditioning right now.

They said before the hiatus the WilSon storyline was left off without any sign of ending soon, but once they got each script for the six episodes they were guaranteed, they started worrying. They also said during taping after the hiatus, the producer was giving them notes about their performance, which was odd, so they were suspicious something wasn't right. But no one ever told them outright they were leaving the show! The podcast was done yesterday, so Freddie's last day should be today while Chandler has to go in for one more day after today.

The behind the scene drama is more interesting than what's on screen. LOL

Dee's only requirement was that she wanted a dressing room with a shower. Drake either had her old dressing room with the shower or had the only dressing room with a shower and he willingly gave it up without fuss so Dee could have her shower. The idea of early 90s Drake Hogestyn showering gets me all flustered.

The show essentially led them on for the length of the hiatus and tricked them into coming back only to shoot their last scenes without ever being straight with them. It was kind of naive of them to not suspect this was a possibility. Without a signed contract, they were in very vulnerable positions, so they got treated like they were temps.

Now anyone who understands soap opera and its audience knew that there was no way that EJ was going to fuck Will. They would not make their leading man Bi.
