I saw a documentary once about a Lone Wolf. The narrators were stumped about how to characterise his social/family status. It's usually assumed Alphas gravitate towards popular sports - because they give elevated social status & (literal) domination opportunity. But then team sports require teamwork - and Alphas aren't necessarily good at that. Especially if the coach allocates them jobs they don't like. And Alphas hate losing - so if their team keeps getting beaten & humiliated in public, it will drive Alphas cray-cray.

I'm a beta that's been around - and have had relationships, both friendships and sexual relationships - with alphas.
