Appropriate for a camping trip, for teenagers and little boys ... otherwise get a proper briefcase or shoulder bag, bro.
Grown men who carry their shit around in backpacks

Ugh, like it's their first day of kindergarten. Grow up!

by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 6, 2020 3:08 PM |
I’m a grown man and ride a bike, so fuck you, OP. I’ve got a backpack and you can suck my tire treads
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 6, 2020 3:09 PM |
i think it's kewl! ur a h8er!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 6, 2020 3:10 PM |
Briefcase or shoulder bag???? What a stupid, old, fat troll you are, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 6, 2020 3:10 PM |
Oh I have a nice black backpack. Need it for my laptop and all. Plus it's easier with my little spinal issue.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 6, 2020 3:14 PM |
Ergonomically better than a shoulder bag or briefcase (which no one carries any more). OP probably wants us to wear vests and ascots.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 6, 2020 3:20 PM |
I much prefer an understated backpack over the faux pocketbooks I see...yes that side-eye you think you got was me.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 6, 2020 3:21 PM |
Briefcases and shoulder bags are useless if you are cycling or using an electric scooter as R3 says. And backpacks are much better ergonomically, and leave both your hands free. There's a reason so many people use them now
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 6, 2020 3:25 PM |
MYOB, OP!
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 6, 2020 3:29 PM |
Don’t fuck with my ‘Hello Kitty’ mini backpack. Everyone says it’s bitch’n & bitch!
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 6, 2020 3:30 PM |
Bitch’n & butch*
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 6, 2020 3:31 PM |
Shoulder bags are terrible for your spine and shoulders so I wish OP all the best on his arthroscopic surgery. Maybe he can comfort himself with his unfounded sense of superiority.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 6, 2020 3:35 PM |
Sorry hon, my herniated disc prefers that I wear a backpack. I apologize for the eyesore.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 6, 2020 3:38 PM |
OK, Boomer!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 6, 2020 3:38 PM |
Shoulder bags hurt. Backpacks are better. Years of carrying a shoulder bag have taken a toll.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 6, 2020 3:43 PM |
Necessary for hiking and backpacking.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 6, 2020 3:45 PM |
Some of us like to carry backpacks because we don’t wanna fuck up your back… As others have pointed out.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 6, 2020 3:49 PM |
I don’t like it so no one else is allowed to enjoy it!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 6, 2020 3:51 PM |
A briefcase? What normal, casually dressed person walks around with a briefcase? I don’t have any fucking quarterly reports I’m hauling around.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 6, 2020 3:51 PM |
This didn't go the way OP was hoping it would.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 6, 2020 3:54 PM |
I was gifted a briefcase. Hated it. Love my Timbuktu with its 100 compartments.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 6, 2020 4:00 PM |
R22 People who live in Washington DC who are self-important assholes carry around briefcases and shoulder bags… Probably filled with political flyers and nonsense.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 6, 2020 4:00 PM |
I carry a backpack.
Fuck off you little bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 6, 2020 4:02 PM |
I don't give a rat's ass what people carry their drag around in. Backpacks seem like a very legitimate choice if you're a city commuter, biker, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 6, 2020 4:02 PM |
Ugh, Grown men who care about how others choose to carry around their stuff.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 6, 2020 4:08 PM |
WTF is a briefcase?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 6, 2020 4:11 PM |
^ They still use them on Mad Men.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 6, 2020 4:13 PM |
You'll have to forgive me--I am so close to my period I could just SCREAM!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 6, 2020 4:26 PM |
I only use backpacks. It’s like driving manual transmission. Why tie up one hand/arm unnecessarily? Plus the ergonomic benefits. Briefcase and satchels are passé. Love my backpack. And have a slightly larger one for air travel. Fantastic for moving through airports and public transport.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 6, 2020 4:42 PM |
But how can you carry all your legal briefs properly without a briefcase???
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 6, 2020 4:48 PM |
I have to admit, seeing adult business men walk around wearing backpacks is so weird to me. All I can think of is how only the nerds wore backpacks the correct way in high school in the 80s. I had a backpack in hs, but I always slung it over one shoulder as I didn’t want to attract negative attention to myself. That is so ingrained in my mind that I doubt I could ever wear a backpack the correct way.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 6, 2020 4:53 PM |
Love my backpack
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 6, 2020 5:02 PM |

Pussy. Who cares what anyone thinks?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 6, 2020 5:06 PM |
OP is a prisspot. Stick your tampons in your handbag and show yourself out! MARY!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | February 6, 2020 5:15 PM |
I do it, and OP can lick me where I shit if she doesn't like it.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | February 6, 2020 5:17 PM |
[quote]get a proper briefcase or shoulder bag, bro.
That's a man purse...a murse
by Anonymous | reply 39 | February 6, 2020 5:29 PM |
To the OP please post a link to what you think is appropriate
by Anonymous | reply 40 | February 6, 2020 5:30 PM |
OP?
Fuck. Off. And. Die.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 6, 2020 5:30 PM |
I use this cool army nap sack (is that the right term?) I found at this thrift shop in LA. It's in between a back pack and a standard computer bag. I love it.
But unlike you OP, I have zero issues with back packs. Of all the things in life to worry about?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 6, 2020 5:33 PM |
R5 totally agree, how old are you OP, like a 100.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 6, 2020 5:52 PM |
The "bro" in OP's post has got to be ironic.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | February 6, 2020 5:53 PM |
Fuck off, you fat cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 6, 2020 5:53 PM |
I'm another guy who rides a bike around - a backpack is the only way to go. I have a great Patagonia backpack and that's fashionable enough for me.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 6, 2020 5:53 PM |
My only problem with backpacks is that people never take them off when they should. For example, when you are boarding a plane, take off your damn backpack and carry it between your legs to your seat.
But no - they whack people seating in the seats or behind them with their overstuffed backpack as they turn around looking for spots to store it or looking for their seat.
Same on public transportation. They whack people all the time, most of the time without knowing it. These are the backpack assholes.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 6, 2020 6:00 PM |
This is my backpack. I bought it because I started school again 3 years ago. It is just the right color of green, Army Green. It is made by Vaschy.
I am old, so I didn't know the really cool brand, Herschel, was identical, only the Herschel costs twice as much. I don't mind not being cool. As I said, I am old, and by definition, possess precious little coolth on campus.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | February 6, 2020 6:06 PM |
OP probably carries around stacks of printed Powerpoints in his briefcase to hand out in meetings. Get with it, bro.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | February 6, 2020 6:10 PM |
OP, have you been to Italy? I visited 20 years ago and it was funny to see young men (teens to early 30's) not only wearing backpacks but ones usually worn by kids. Like backpacks with superhero and anime/cartoon themes. A friend visited more recently and he saw the same thing.
