Everyone Hates Susan Collins

Finally everyone sees through her.

Bye-bye in November, witch.

Feckless cunt. I hope she burns in hell.

by Anonymousreply 1January 17, 2020 6:37 AM

She can not be trusted by anyone. She should step down.

by Anonymousreply 2January 17, 2020 6:39 AM

She’ll get a lobbying job or on the board of a tobacco company. Now THAT is sad!

by Anonymousreply 3January 17, 2020 6:39 AM

Good riddance. DL was on to her way before the rest.

by Anonymousreply 4January 17, 2020 6:40 AM

Local coverage. I hope Stephen King donates generously to defeat her.

All that LL Bean money will be propping her up.

by Anonymousreply 5January 17, 2020 6:41 AM

Money can’t save her in Maine. It’s not Florida.

They are not having her.

The only way for her to win is to vote to convict. All Corey to that list too.

by Anonymousreply 6January 17, 2020 6:44 AM

[quote] Everyone Hates Susan Collins

Sounds like a great pitch for a TV series. It could be the inverse of Everybody Loves Raymond. Imagine the comedic possibilities!

by Anonymousreply 7January 17, 2020 6:46 AM

Probably repukes hate her, too.

by Anonymousreply 8January 17, 2020 6:47 AM

People need to troll her office on Twitter. Evil parasite.

by Anonymousreply 9January 17, 2020 6:47 AM

Maybe she'll give up office if the hate is passionately and persistently expressed by thousands.

by Anonymousreply 10January 17, 2020 6:48 AM

Her November dramatized in advance.

by Anonymousreply 25January 17, 2020 7:07 AM

I don’t use social media. But someone tell her her only chance to survive and redeem herself is to vote to convict.

It’s so clearly obvious now that he is GUILTY!

There is no way she’s going to acquit him. No way. Forget it.

by Anonymousreply 26January 17, 2020 7:08 AM

Who cares how she votes. She'll be doing it to be reelected because she know she tipped her hand with the Justice Sociopath vote.

She needs to be defeated.

by Anonymousreply 27January 17, 2020 7:09 AM

She’s probably picking their pocket.

She’s is a republican after all.

by Anonymousreply 28January 17, 2020 7:09 AM

by Anonymousreply 29January 17, 2020 7:09 AM

by Anonymousreply 30January 17, 2020 7:10 AM

She should have voted her conscience instead of trusting Yertle.

by Anonymousreply 31January 17, 2020 7:12 AM

Pennywise should give her a balloon.

by Anonymousreply 32January 17, 2020 7:12 AM

[quote] someone tell her her only chance to survive and redeem herself is to vote to convict.

Democrats are not going to vote for her no matter what, so it does not make any political sense to vote to convict, against the only people voting for her.

by Anonymousreply 33January 17, 2020 7:16 AM

She wants to win over voters at the margins. She's considering the possibility that if she votes to convict, it'll be enough to win back just enough voters at the margins to be reelected. She's not trying to win over Democrats. She's trying to win back those annoying, flinty "independent undecideds" who the media constantly interview at diners.

by Anonymousreply 37January 17, 2020 9:35 AM

God I hate this woman; Stephen King hates her too & appears to be willing to put his $$ where his mouth is in regards to supporting her challenger

by Anonymousreply 38January 17, 2020 9:56 AM

I'm sure she's quite concerned about her poll rating and is going to give some serious thought to it. 🙄

by Anonymousreply 39January 17, 2020 10:00 AM

With people like Miss Lindsay & Bitch, who are fully aware of Dump's schemes & likely in on them, you can understand their posture, however loathsome. But as another poster noted, Maine is not KY or SC or FL where they just can't get enough of crazy, right wing rebugs. As a result, I'm baffled by her willingness to follow Dump off of a cliff, spout Fox News talking points & think this will get her re-elected in Maine.

by Anonymousreply 40January 17, 2020 11:47 AM

I sent a small donation to her opponent. .. and I live eleven states away from Maine!

As far as sexual assault and reproductive rights, Margaret Atwood nailed it in The Handmaid's Tale: women are the WORST when it comes to passing judgment on other women.

YOU are a whore who gets what you deserve. I am an angel who will never be raped or need an abortion (until I do in which case I will transform overnight into the most militant feminist in history, then revert to my old smug self after my needs are met.)

by Anonymousreply 48January 17, 2020 3:13 PM

Mainers want Dump convicted and removed by a wide margin, so she’s up against that too. If she votes to let him off, she’ll lose.

by Anonymousreply 49January 17, 2020 3:45 PM

Any chance Maine will come to its senses and dump this cunt?

by Anonymousreply 50January 17, 2020 3:55 PM

R49 is paying attention.

by Anonymousreply 51January 17, 2020 6:20 PM

[quote] She's considering the possibility that if she votes to convict, it'll be enough to win back just enough voters at the margins to be reelected

Considering how many votes she would lose from her base, if she actually thought that, she and anyone else who thinks that scheme makes any sense must be very bad at math.

by Anonymousreply 52January 17, 2020 10:07 PM

Who is her "base" anyway, and why do they like this wishy-washy woman who -- from all I can tell -- only expresses concerns, disappointments, and meaningless platitudes?

by Anonymousreply 53January 17, 2020 10:41 PM

Republicans are evil. I don’t get why anyone would support them unless they were independently wealthy and they needed rethugs to sure up there business advantages.

Otherwise, wtf?

Something like that. It’s a very weak statement. She did this with Kavanaugh, too. She’ll give the impression that she will vote on the Left, but when it happens, she will not. Disgusting, because it’s very dishonest.

by Anonymousreply 56January 17, 2020 10:56 PM

R13 Rick Wilson is always hilarious! The guy needs his own show.

by Anonymousreply 57January 17, 2020 10:58 PM

I liked Susan Collins but what a disappointment. Can't wait for her to get her ass kicked.

by Anonymousreply 58January 17, 2020 11:04 PM

When she goes down in November, all of New England will be solid blue.

by Anonymousreply 59January 17, 2020 11:04 PM

Good riddance.

by Anonymousreply 60January 17, 2020 11:20 PM

Once you get out of Portland, isn't Maine basically the Alabama of New England? What are the Maine polls showing right now? How endangered is she really?

by Anonymousreply 61January 17, 2020 11:23 PM

R59 - New Hampshire is still Repugnant

by Anonymousreply 62January 17, 2020 11:23 PM

R61, my sister is a professor at UMaine - she's telling me the students are organized and ready to vote against her. She lives in a small town near Farmington, rural and mainly conservative, and is hearing the same. The conservatives are disgusted with her fence sitting while the liberal Democrats have had it with her two-faced pandering come election-time. Kavanaugh was the end of her support with Independent women (like my sister). Maine has a large Independent voting bloc.

She's toast.

by Anonymousreply 63January 17, 2020 11:33 PM

I am really concerned about this.

by Anonymousreply 64January 17, 2020 11:36 PM

It's no coincidence she's pulling in money from the Blump. Bribery and corruption are now sanctioned by the USSC.

by Anonymousreply 65January 17, 2020 11:38 PM

I think the question is, not who will not vote for her, but who is it that wants to vote for her?

I would think if she votes to acquit Trump, every Republican there is will vote for her. They’d probably pop out of the woodwork and flood down to the voting booth to keep her if she supports the Tangerine Tornado.

The Republican Party is Trump supporters. That’s the entire party. So if she supports him, isn’t that good enough? They’re certainly not voting for a Democrat if they love Trump, no matter how inept she is.

by Anonymousreply 66January 17, 2020 11:39 PM

Yeah they just stay home. They crawl back under their trailers.

by Anonymousreply 67January 17, 2020 11:42 PM

Maine and Ohio, the people can not think things through to a reasonable conclusion, they are stubborn and ignorant.

by Anonymousreply 68January 17, 2020 11:47 PM

R67, what I’m saying is, I don’t think they will stay home. I think mealy-mouthed talk aside, she does exactly what any Republican would do, and there’s enough Republicans there to keep electing her, so from the Republican point of view, what’s the problem?

If she doesn’t vote to acquit Trump, that’s when she has a problem. The Republicans will abandon her, the Democrats and never Trumpers already hate her, so there’s no incentive at all to do the right thing.

by Anonymousreply 69January 17, 2020 11:48 PM

I think it comes down to it being Maine and not a deplorable stronghold, where your theory would be solid.

But I’m no politico.

by Anonymousreply 70January 18, 2020 12:38 AM

She's something of an embarrassment now. Would you want her repping you in the Senate?

by Anonymousreply 71January 18, 2020 3:00 AM

I know it's not PC to mock her, but that shaking is concerning.

by Anonymousreply 72January 18, 2020 3:01 AM

Everyone Hates Susan Collins....

Sounds like a new sitcom.

by Anonymousreply 73January 18, 2020 3:17 AM

Could be either essential tremor or Parkinson’s.

Why does everybody overlook that with Amy Klobuchar, who’s lot younger? At Collins’ age some infirmity isn’t quite as alarming, but it’s still not good.

Parkinson’s sufferers often suffer from hallucinations, so that’s not just cosmetic. It should be disclosed.

I hope when Trump is gone, someone tightens up the medical exam requirement for sitting government officials in Congress and the executive branch. You could probably get rid of half those people on the spot.

by Anonymousreply 85January 24, 2020 9:00 PM

She’s a good example of that adage, if you don’t like being called a covering-up jackass, then don’t be one.

by Anonymousreply 86January 25, 2020 6:51 AM

by Anonymousreply 110February 5, 2020 1:55 AM

Maine resident here - the State is becoming more progressive all the time. Remember - Maine was the first State that voted for gay marriage by popular vote. Maine is in desperate need of workers - there are simply not enough people to work there right now. The type of people Maine is actively recruiting are young educated liberals. And Sara Gideon ads appear twice as often as Susan Collins do.

by Anonymousreply 111February 5, 2020 2:10 AM

R118, because she hoodwinked its diner-going "centrists" and "undecideds" into thinking that she's moderate.

by Anonymousreply 120February 7, 2020 5:03 PM

Collins was elected in 1996 on the promise that she’d serve only 2 terms, and Mainers took her at her word. That was her first big lie. Then she created the "independent" facade and combined that with her support for abortion, to hoodwink people into voting her back in for 4 terms. Also the Democrats have never been able to put up a viable candidate against her. Hopefully her support of Kavanaugh and Trump have finally convinced enough people to call bullshit on her antics. That and we finally have a great candidate in Sara Gideon!

p.s. that's a real central Maine accent on the woman in the video
