She lives in a small town near Farmington, rural and mainly conservative, and is hearing the same. Kavanaugh was the end of her support with Independent women (like my sister). Maine has a large Independent voting bloc.

Maine resident here - the State is becoming more progressive all the time. Remember - Maine was the first State that voted for gay marriage by popular vote. Maine is in desperate need of workers - there are simply not enough people to work there right now. The type of people Maine is actively recruiting are young educated liberals. And Sara Gideon ads appear twice as often as Susan Collins do.

I don't live in Maine, but I've donated twice to Sara Gideon's campaign. I would encourage others to do the same and flip that Senate seat.
