I just watched an excellent documentary on this lady.
I am 42 so I don't know why I have never heard of her-
What a great, funny, and intelligent woman-
I cannot tell if she was asexual or a lesbian or what?? There was NOTHING about any personal relationship- and nothing in her Wikipedia.

She was a friend of my mom’s, who was a lesbian, but don’t know about Molly. She always called me “Twinkie” but I don’t think she meant it how I think she meant it.
