Three of them left standing...
When is Pete coming to campaign in Illinois? I want to meet him?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | January 9, 2020 11:16 PM |
Pete Is thicc.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 9, 2020 11:18 PM |
Chasten does pack a pair of jeans decently. I'll give him that.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 10, 2020 3:15 AM |
Shopping for poetry in flannel. As one does. The facial hair is nice - he really would look great with a beard.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | January 10, 2020 11:47 AM |
Maybe this time the White House will get a REAL makeover instead of Provincial Frau.
Come on, you have a gay design army just waiting to make it happen.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 10, 2020 12:05 PM |
I'm not normally the biggest fan of taxpayer money going into constant renovations of the White House and have bitched about this extensively before, but in this case... yeah, that gaudy crap has GOT to go.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 10, 2020 12:10 PM |
He went back to that same Des Moines salon today where he got his first sidecut back in October. He gonna be looking foine at the debate tomorrow.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 13, 2020 10:51 PM |
You know it's funny how all the pundits on TV are saying not now, he has a future ahead of him. Because I seem to recall them saying the same thing about Obama. And, if my memory is correct Michele said something similar to "oh no, we are not doing this twice". Not going to pay the wait your turn game. Basically he would get out of politics or never run again and go back to a normal life.
So be careful about assuming Pete will be around to run next time. He may just go back to being a small town mayor or governor or something. Or get out of politics completely. He has his whole life ahead of him, maybe he doesn't want to end up like Hillary.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 13, 2020 11:02 PM |
He is adorable in that Univision clip.
I want him deep, deep in me.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 13, 2020 11:06 PM |
"He has a future ahead of him" is just a diplomatic way of saying he's got no chance. And of course it was used on Obama as well - you'll never see them be this dismissive of straight white guys. In the eyes of the punditry class, only ancient D.C. fixtures should ever run for president. Because that's comfortable and predictable and the way things are done...
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 13, 2020 11:08 PM |
[quote] you'll never see them be this dismissive of straight white guys.
Oh please. He's gotten the king's treatment thanks to his sexuality. If he was straight, people would be dismissing him.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 13, 2020 11:13 PM |
[quote] And, if my memory is correct Michele said something similar to "oh no, we are not doing this twice".
LOL. You think you can compare Michelle Obama to that hideous attention whore Chasten? Michelle is a normal human being with a family and responsibilities. Chasten is an underemployed attention whore who is dying to be the next "First Lady".
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 13, 2020 11:19 PM |
[quote]you'll never see them be this dismissive of straight white guys.
Oh really?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 13, 2020 11:26 PM |
Chasten would make a good first lady.
Pete is just adorkable. <3
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 14, 2020 2:08 AM |
Life is strange. Neither of those gaylings could have imagined what the future held.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 14, 2020 2:34 AM |
R18 Chasten was actually kind of cute. My God Pete though - the glow up is real. He's handsome now.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | January 14, 2020 2:36 AM |
I adore Pete but he looked like the kid you get paired with in science class who has greasy hair and pizza breath.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 14, 2020 2:39 AM |
R19, *I* couldn't have imagined, even a few years ago, a future where a gay man could make a serious run at the presidential nomination. Our society can still be awful, but progress has been made.

Pete posing with his adorable 8-year old mini-me at an event in Iowa.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 14, 2020 3:52 AM |
Another photo with Brixton. I'd be shitting my pants around a pittie (I live on DL so I've heard some stories), so good for him for being so relaxed around him.
r23 Omg, what a precious lil' boy!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 14, 2020 4:37 AM |
This gorgeous man from Memphis endorsed him today. Sometimes I really wonder how Pete keeps it together... 🤤

Chasten for VP? Although he’s actually too young - Pete robbed the cradle!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | January 15, 2020 11:35 PM |
Sheepishly looking at one of his most important endorsers yet - Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, who is going to endorse him at a Concord rally on Friday. I miss sweater Pete...

I can’t wait for this to be over. The cults are fighting it out to be the cult that takes on the Cheeto cult.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 16, 2020 2:06 AM |
Lol at the Hueningkai fan lecturing us about cults.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | January 16, 2020 2:11 AM |
I think he’s terrible, r37. There’s cult around him, too? Who’s your cult leader?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | January 16, 2020 2:15 AM |
OMG, R37, you’re obsessed with Pete. He’s not going to win, dummy. I’d vote for him if he did, but he’s not. Grow up.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | January 16, 2020 2:23 AM |
Lol at Chasten standing between two giants. 😄

Heh, he looked so deflated when he realized his staff and supporters were going to sing him "Happy Birthday" at the end of the town hall in Council Bluffs just now.

Crossing the finish line at the South Bend Urban Adventure back in the day.
If that's not a cookie-smelling face, then I don't know what is.

I like this one from yesterday as well.

Buttigieg must win Iowa or NH to be viable moving forward, correct?
by Anonymous | reply 66 | January 28, 2020 6:33 PM |
Either that or come in second but strongly ahead of Biden, yes. Showing how many Trump voters he can flip in Iowa will be crucial. Not so much in NH where those will be voting mainly for Tulsi.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | January 28, 2020 6:36 PM |
Chasten goofing around behind Pete's back in Ottumwa earlier today.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | January 28, 2020 9:05 PM |
Please enjoy this 9 minute video of Pete interacting with voters on the rope line after one of his events. Features a number of older women to whom Pete is the perfect son they never had - although why hasn’t he met a nice girl yet??

The supremely fabulous former Corpus Christi mayor Nelda Martinez is coming to Iowa as his surrogate to campaign for him in these final days. Old connections coming home to roost...

Iowa Rep. Phyllis Thede endorsed Pete today. Thede is one of only five black lawmakers in the Iowa legislature. She previously endorsed Kamala and is the mother of Robin Thede, creator of A Black Lady Sketch Show on HBO.
[quote]Iowa State Rep Phyllis Thede is introing Buttigieg in Davenport, his 4th and final stop of the day — she tells the crowd, “He could be my son! And I’m excited about that. I am proud of him, like any mother would be. This is a good man. Can you imagine Pete, my son — my son as President of the United States? This is a beautiful young soul and we need to encourage him."
In short, he's such a nice young man. 😊

by Anonymous | reply 77 | February 1, 2020 2:18 AM |
I wonder what they are doing for money now that Pete is no longer Mayor. Neither of them is rich and both have student loan debt, Chasten is on leave from his teaching job and they are not suppose to use campaign funds for personal use.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | February 1, 2020 3:30 AM |
He said last year they'll have to rely on money from his book sales for a while. They definitely aren't using campaign funds.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | February 1, 2020 3:33 AM |
Money from books sales and maybe some savings from Pete's McKinsey days, R78. But don't worry about him. I'm sure he'll make a lot of money soon.

US Navy sweatshirt 👌🏻
I could not run in both a heavy sweatshirt and sweats though
by Anonymous | reply 93 | February 3, 2020 7:18 PM |
Yes he really does come across as a wonderful person. Sadly I don’t think he’ll get the nomination but he’s so young so he has time to really make an impact. I know a lot of straight people who like him. I think he has definitely brought gay into mainstream politics which is incredible. Enough of the closet queens! In a few years people won’t question what one’s sexual orientation is anymore, I truly hope.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | February 3, 2020 11:08 PM |
r94 Was just about to post that one. Taken yesterday.
Even if he doesn't win or get the nomination, it's so important that he didn't have Chasten locked away back in South Bend through this process. It's important that people see photos like those; that is photos of a gay presidential candidate not ashamed or embarrassed of being seen canoodling with his husband.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | February 3, 2020 11:29 PM |
Three cheers to them both
