What’s her story? Nice? Nuts? She used to bang Sandra Bernhard in the early 80s.
Yeah, she's a little crazy.
But I love her.

She became Mary Beth Hurt.

At least she's not a raging drunk like Ellen.

Ed hinted in his TV Legends interview years ago that he wasn’t the only one from the Married With Children cast that found Amanda difficult. I believe it because the only cast member I have ever seen her with since the show went off the air was when she was at some convention last year with Ted McGinley.

Amanda was one of the first TV actors to come out. She came out before Ellen, but she didn't get the headlines because she was a supporting actress instead of the lead. Married with Children did a funny gay-positive episode where Amanda played Marcy's lookalike lesbian cousin.
In that interview, Ed O'Neill sounded like a homophobic bully. Bears does a lot of TV directing these days.

Ed O'Neill is a dick.

Sandra's hinted that she was batshit crazy.

Ed is a piece of work himself. It sounded more like two alphas wanting to be in control.

Sandra Bernhardt calling somebody else crazy?? That's rich.

She came back home to Georgia many years ago. For a few years she and a partner owned and ran an eatery up in the N. Ga. mountains in Blue Ridge, Ga.. Later I read that she was attending classes at Ga. State Univ. in Atlanta, but that was several years ago. I haven't heard much about her since then.
