How Will You Cope With A Second Trump Term?

Go nuts? Start drinking and drugging? Not giving a damn?

by Anonymousreply 56December 23, 2019 3:00 AM

Trump will be in Moscow or hell by November.

by Anonymousreply 1December 20, 2019 6:18 PM

Stop reading the news.

by Anonymousreply 2December 20, 2019 6:20 PM

IF that happens, hopefully the Democrats will not only stay in the House majority, but take over the Senate as well and make Trump's second term a living nightmare for him and McConnell.

by Anonymousreply 3December 20, 2019 6:25 PM

New improved tits.

by Anonymousreply 4December 20, 2019 6:30 PM

watch the Dow Jones continue its climb

by Anonymousreply 5December 20, 2019 6:30 PM

AMEN R5 !!!! TRUMP 2020

by Anonymousreply 6December 20, 2019 6:33 PM

That would be hilarious to see

by Anonymousreply 7December 20, 2019 6:34 PM

R5 who fucking cares? Yay, the rich get richer off of this infantile scumbag.

by Anonymousreply 8December 20, 2019 6:36 PM

Moving to Canada.

by Anonymousreply 9December 20, 2019 6:37 PM

I'm already there with the drinking...

by Anonymousreply 10December 20, 2019 6:38 PM

Join an antifa cell and wear a chic beret like Miss Patricia Hearst.

by Anonymousreply 11December 20, 2019 6:38 PM

Continue to live my life to the fullest but wary of the inevitable PC backlash.

by Anonymousreply 12December 20, 2019 7:08 PM

Hope the left will reorient itself as a more centrist party but I fear the progressive backlash will be even worse the second time around.

by Anonymousreply 13December 20, 2019 7:10 PM

I will begin advocating for splitting the country up. A fascist cult government is not what the states signed up for when they joined the Union.

by Anonymousreply 14December 20, 2019 7:11 PM

Turn straight

by Anonymousreply 15December 20, 2019 7:28 PM

Invest in coat hanger manufacturing stocks.

by Anonymousreply 16December 20, 2019 8:22 PM

The same way I coped with the first term: staying the hell away from cable news.

by Anonymousreply 17December 20, 2019 8:31 PM

If he gets a second term, chances are good he’ll die in office. 🙏🏼

by Anonymousreply 18December 20, 2019 8:34 PM

Sit back and watch him destroy this country even more because people are too fucking lazy to vote.

by Anonymousreply 19December 20, 2019 8:35 PM

Continually thank God I live in a blue state. And ready myself for the overturning of marriage equality on a national level.

by Anonymousreply 20December 20, 2019 8:55 PM

I think it would be very very bad

by Anonymousreply 21December 20, 2019 10:03 PM

It would be catastrophic if the Democrats don't have both houses of Congress as a bullwark against his insanity.

by Anonymousreply 22December 20, 2019 10:05 PM

Winning the Senate might be difficult, but hopefully the Dems will keep the House.

by Anonymousreply 23December 20, 2019 10:06 PM

If Bernie becomes the Democratic nominee...we can look forward to 4 more years of Trump. Bernie is the Jeremy Corbyn of American Politics. The states that need to swing Democrat to win the EC, will not do so for Bernie no matter what social media supporters may tell you. Warren wouldn't win either.

by Anonymousreply 24December 20, 2019 10:16 PM

Smoke copious amounts of pot.

by Anonymousreply 25December 20, 2019 10:23 PM

[QUOTE] If he gets a second term, chances are good he’ll die in office.

And Republicans will still have the White House, so either Trump or Mike Pence are putting two Justices on the Supreme Court, starting with Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat.

by Anonymousreply 26December 20, 2019 10:28 PM

Murder/suicide.

by Anonymousreply 27December 20, 2019 10:30 PM

R24 I agree but it seems like people can’t or won’t accept that

by Anonymousreply 28December 20, 2019 10:34 PM

Biden is our only hope. He’s not my favorite but I have a feeling he’s the only one who stands a chance against Dump.

by Anonymousreply 29December 20, 2019 10:36 PM

NY Stock Exchange combined with Swiss Banking and the Swiss Franc. I wouldn't risk everything on investments alone.

by Anonymousreply 30December 20, 2019 10:40 PM

Biden/Harris is the ticket for 2020. Warren or Sanders will spell bad news for attracting the moderates. I will vote D down the ticket, but our best chance is Joe and Kamala. AND nipping the Russian cheating in the bud. They can ONLY win with cheating as we know, but it is hard to beat a nasty cheater. Let's get it DONE!!!!

by Anonymousreply 31December 20, 2019 10:46 PM

Heroin

by Anonymousreply 32December 20, 2019 10:50 PM

I'll start taking Russian lessons.

by Anonymousreply 33December 20, 2019 10:53 PM

Spent an hour online looking at available property in Spain. I always wanted to be fluent in Spanish -- I took four years of it in high school, and I still remember some after all these years.

As soon as I start collecting Social Security (in less than a year,) I'm good to go.

by Anonymousreply 34December 20, 2019 10:56 PM

I emigrated from the US permanently ten years ago, when I was 36. I split my time among Mexico, Peru, and Italy.

by Anonymousreply 35December 20, 2019 11:00 PM

I will be lost in the mass of La Revolution, I hope.

by Anonymousreply 36December 20, 2019 11:09 PM

We will recreate this, with men too:

Well, at least trump will own the economic meltdown that is heading our way.

by Anonymousreply 38December 20, 2019 11:24 PM

Let's see the facts and connect the dots.

1. The majority of voters did not vote for Trump.

2. He immediately pissed of many people and groups.

3. He party lost the House

4. GOP have been losing more races

5. He became more unhinged and comiited crimes.

6. He was impeached.

7. He is ratcheting up the crazy and losing more support.

8. He has a whole year for him to fuck up more.

I'm seeing a trend here.

45* and his party will probably lose more power in the next national elections.

by Anonymousreply 39December 21, 2019 12:07 AM

R39 Only the electoral vote counts anyway. The GOP still has the senate. The rest is just your opinion. I was 99% sure Hillary would have won last time especially after the debates. Now I feel like he'll be reelected. But I guess I could be wrong yet again.

by Anonymousreply 40December 22, 2019 4:10 AM

I sit back and laugh as I watch Americans tear each other apart as result of their own stupidity and inability to form functioning society. You are country of morons who would rather fight amongst yourselves than work together to fight enemy, and that is why motherland has won. Dasvidanya.

by Anonymousreply 41December 22, 2019 4:16 AM

Another domino falls...can't wait till 45* tweets about this conservative voice calling for removal too. This is a big one. Hopefully, there will be more soon. Merry Christmas!

Failure to remove him after impeachment means a sweep by the GOP at every level.

This has alienated independent voters and energized Republicans.

by Anonymousreply 43December 22, 2019 4:37 AM

I’m hoping he is re-elected but the Dems keep the House. America just works better with divided government.

by Anonymousreply 44December 22, 2019 4:47 AM

Same thing I do now: avoid the news on both TV and online whenever possible. I honesty deliberately go out of my way to avoid the news because I can’t stand this cunt.

by Anonymousreply 45December 22, 2019 4:50 AM

[quote] America just works better with divided government.

I have a newsflash for you: America doesn't work any more. Certainly not post-2016.

by Anonymousreply 46December 22, 2019 4:52 AM

I’m avoiding my deplorable relatives and am hoping they will become more tolerable when he is gone, so it would be difficult if he stays in longer.

by Anonymousreply 47December 22, 2019 4:53 AM

I won't care. I was flabbergasted when he won the first term. I just could not believe there were that many stupid, stupid people living in the United (ha!) States. I can't listen to him - he sounds like a mentally challenged eight year old. The Republican Party is destroying this country but they are too powerful and have too much money to be stopped. We've been saying for years that Dems need to be equally ruthless -- but they never are. I just give up.

by Anonymousreply 48December 22, 2019 4:55 AM

The damage Trump has already done to our culture is significant and awful. I just read another case where a woman ran down a teen with her car, because the teen was “Mexican”. She was charged with attempted murder. Of course, alcohol and drugs were involved.

by Anonymousreply 49December 22, 2019 4:59 AM

#CalExit

by Anonymousreply 50December 22, 2019 5:06 AM

R50 what is #calexit?

by Anonymousreply 51December 22, 2019 5:08 AM

Hunker down and wait it out.

by Anonymousreply 52December 22, 2019 5:10 AM

#calexit is a movement to secede from the USA.

California has one of the largest economies in the world. It would be a major player as an independent state. The United States is far too large for a central government to effectively manage it.

Americans would be able to watch Kalifornia descend into Venezuela style chaos in real time, and reassess the political positions held by people in California.

by Anonymousreply 53December 22, 2019 5:11 AM

Historically, empires rise and fall. China will be the world superpower. USA's time is coming to end anyway. Trump is just expediting the fall.

by Anonymousreply 54December 22, 2019 2:15 PM

[quote] R53: The United States is far too large for a central government to effectively manage it.

This is why the Federal system of State sovereignty is useful and works so well. They say something like that the states provide the policy experiments that might later be applied to the nation. Examples would be the women’s right to vote; Gay marriage; and legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes.
