Stargirl: First Look
“Stargirl” centers on high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Bassinger), who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This series reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, and is produced by Warner Bros. Television, Mad Ghost Productions and Berlanti Productions.
The series focuses on the character that started creator Geoff Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion.

Will we ever get tired of this formulaic cosplay fodder?

Nipple teasing at work again in Hollywood. The Bassinger name opens doors.

Dear PR/marketing intern:
I know you’ve got student loans to pay off, but I’m gonna give you a tip. Datalounge isn’t your target demographic. Maybe you’ve been assigned to the fringe outliers, how else to explain the surge of transparent posts...
It’s coming off as contrived.

I always get my Bassinger-Baldwins confused. Is it this one?

With Joel McHale as Starman and Henry Thomas as Dr. Midnight.

R4 thinks gay men don't like strong women in fabulous outfits.

R8, are you serious or just wishful casting?

I would watch if Kevin McHale is in it in tight spandex.

R10 I think they're just fancasting.

I bet you that Stargirl isn't getting the grade A dick that Supergirl is getting.

Entertainment based on superheroes? How novel!

Stargirl is a pretty niche character, but I suppose she fits the demographic they are chasing. A series based on Geoff Johns' classic Starman run would be far more engaging.

I thought the pilot was good! And Luke Wilson is kind of a DILF now.

The trailers looked good. I'll probably check it out when the season is finished.

Hated the Courtney character from the start. Why do they have to make characters so unlikable.

R24 why do you hate Courtney??

Why is she going by her mom's name?
Does Alec think she's a "pig" too an unworthy of the Baldwin name?

Second episode was really good. So far this is much better than the rest of the CW shows and Titans.
And lots of DILF eye candy too.

What gay characters are in here? Females, right? Ugh to the Nth degree.
So, Beth will lose her eyesight. The Mexican chick will become Wildcat II. The Bowin geek will be the Fiddler. Shiv and Tigress are there, too.
Sportsmaster and Luke are both hot, thankfully. They need more workout sessions together.
The pudgy Gambler is probably an evil eldergay.

Finally watched lol
I HATED that they didn’t really develop Fiddler and her son or even give them their own episode like the others. I was waiting for an episode focused on them, and it never came. And they only just properly introduced her son at the end, and he didn’t really interact with any of the main characters throughout the whole season. I don’t get how that would be. It was really awful what they did to them.
I also wish they did something with Cindy’s friend.
And what happened to homecoming or whatever? Was it canceled? Or was it because Courtney was injured that they completely dropped it? I completely missed what happened there. Would have made for a fun event. And even if homecoming was canceled, what happened with Icicle’s son and Courtney?

Second season's been going on for 2 episodes now. Looks like they just introduced the daughter of Green Lantern. Interestingly enough they made her the daughter of Alan Scott, the gay Green Lantern.

I love this show!
That last episode was really good, probably the best I’ve seen on a DC live-action superhero show ever.
