Why aren't they more popular as pets?
Mostly republican leaning, so hard pass as a pet for me.

Those things look like monsters. Why would anybody think they would be "popular" as pets? I think the OP, who seems to find them cute, should adopt one and tell us all his experience with the perky little creature.

Their name annoys me, because it's a misnomer.
Snub nose refers to a short, stubby nose.
These monkeys have NO nose at all.
