Panda Express has shitty fried rice and chow mein!

Their fortune cookies aren't even fortunes either!

There. I said it!

I agree, but I always find it shocking people expect quality food from something with EXPRESS in their name. They are American fast food version of "Chinese" food.

by Anonymousreply 1November 7, 2019 1:49 AM

OP casually trying to inflame a race war, as one does on a Wednesday evening...

by Anonymousreply 2November 7, 2019 1:52 AM

Yes Cuntface R2, by exposing Panda Express' shitty cardboard rice.

R1 Their orange chicken is top notch and quality.

by Anonymousreply 3November 7, 2019 1:53 AM

And they don’t use real pandas either.

by Anonymousreply 4November 7, 2019 2:00 AM

Thanks for hipping me to that, OP - you're a real life saver!

by Anonymousreply 5November 7, 2019 2:02 AM

I won't lie, I love their orange chicken. What really pisses me off about them is you practically have to beg for soy sauce. Do they think people want to eat their rice dry?

by Anonymousreply 6November 7, 2019 2:05 AM

Their Beijing Beef is good too.

by Anonymousreply 7November 7, 2019 2:19 AM

They have these chicken strips now that are delicious

by Anonymousreply 8November 7, 2019 2:22 AM

Junk food, it hits the spot when you are in the mood for a greasy, fattening, salty meal

by Anonymousreply 9November 7, 2019 2:25 AM

Panda was better when it was a smaller mall foodcourt chain.

by Anonymousreply 10November 7, 2019 2:48 AM

Fake Chinese food for fat whores

Fake Chinese food for fat whores

by Anonymousreply 12November 7, 2019 2:51 AM

It's mall food court Chinese food...of course it's crap.

by Anonymousreply 13November 7, 2019 2:56 AM

I've gotten food poisoning twice from this damn place. No more

by Anonymousreply 14November 7, 2019 2:59 AM

I didn't know only fat whores ate Panda Express. So what's all the mediocre men doing there?

by Anonymousreply 15November 7, 2019 3:01 AM

Panda Express is the McDonalds of Chinese food. It's not even good fast food, yet everyone loves it.

by Anonymousreply 16November 7, 2019 3:04 AM

I'm sure they're crying all the way to the bank, OP.

by Anonymousreply 17November 7, 2019 3:10 AM

Pre-made mall food, served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils from huge heated troughs that have been sitting for hours isn't haute cuisine?

I'm shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED at this news.

by Anonymousreply 18November 7, 2019 3:11 AM

I like their fortunes, they always tell me I am going to get rich....$$$

Orange chicken is ok, it's Chinese food, what do you expect OP? It isn't French haute cuisine.

Someone has been reading my Facebook posts, funny.

by Anonymousreply 19November 7, 2019 3:34 AM

[quote]Orange chicken is ok, it's Chinese food, what do you expect OP?

It's as much Chinese food as Olive Garden is EYE-Talian food.

by Anonymousreply 20November 7, 2019 3:39 AM

[quote] Fake Chinese food for fat whores

FAT WHORES REJOICE!

by Anonymousreply 21November 7, 2019 3:41 AM

OMG, OP--I had just assumed their tacky chain mall outlets were four-star restaurants until now!

Please give us also your gourmet opinions of Chick-Fil-A and Burger King.

by Anonymousreply 22November 7, 2019 3:42 AM

OP, Not all Panda Express' food is the same. One near my home is packed with Asians as you can smell the garlic and ginger cooking as you walk through the door. So there's a very high turnover of all of the food. They're also not skimpy with the soy sauce or the portions.

by Anonymousreply 23November 7, 2019 3:42 AM

Their rice is nasty.

by Anonymousreply 24November 7, 2019 5:08 AM

You shouldn't be eating rice or noodles anyway.

by Anonymousreply 25November 7, 2019 5:09 AM

I don't have a problem with carbs, fatty.

by Anonymousreply 26November 7, 2019 5:14 AM

It's such a strange restaurant because everything is so fucking inconsistent from one franchise to the next, and even within the same franchise from one day to the next. Sometimes their food is great and it really hits the spot, other days I will stop by there and literally feel like I have been scammed when I get home and see what the food looks like.

One thing that is consistent is that their beef with broccoli is BULLSHIT. There is never any BEEF!

Overall thumbs down rating from me.

by Anonymousreply 27November 7, 2019 5:22 AM

Their egg rolls are crap as well.

by Anonymousreply 28November 7, 2019 5:22 AM

Just for you, R20

Always take the vegetable as a side instead of rice.

by Anonymousreply 30November 7, 2019 5:28 AM

I like their new Quarter-Pander

by Anonymousreply 31November 7, 2019 5:53 AM

[quote] Fake Chinese food

You can order more authentic Chinese dim sum entrees such as shumai and turnip cake. They have a secret menu. You just have to pay with little red envelopes.

r27 Their stores are all company-owned. They don't franchise.

by Anonymousreply 33November 7, 2019 12:38 PM

Bitch, I was joking. What you gotta be so mean? 😕

by Anonymousreply 34November 7, 2019 12:41 PM

Their cream cheese rangoons are delicious. And, yes, I'm a fat whore.

by Anonymousreply 35November 7, 2019 12:56 PM

Panda Express is just about the only fast food I will eat. Never get the rice though...steamed veggies for me, with Beijing beef and black pepper chicken. Yum.

by Anonymousreply 36November 7, 2019 1:24 PM

I'll eat some fast food, but not that. Some of it's decent if you get it straight off the stove, but it gets gloppy and shoddy in about 50 seconds.

by Anonymousreply 37November 7, 2019 1:32 PM

That picture looks absolutely disgusting.

by Anonymousreply 38November 7, 2019 2:46 PM

r38 You've had worse in your mouth!

by Anonymousreply 39November 7, 2019 5:12 PM

my only experience war years ago for lunchtime carry out. About 3 hours later I felt like I was having a seizure at my desk. I figured it was the MSG excess. It was very flavorful and now I know why!

by Anonymousreply 40November 7, 2019 5:18 PM

I want to know their orange chicken recipe.

by Anonymousreply 41November 8, 2019 3:33 PM

I'd rather eat at a $7 for 3 item combo type of fast food Chinese, than Panda. They give you a heaping amount of rice and/or noodles and you can get extra eggrolls, too -- feeds like 4 people for less than $10.

by Anonymousreply 42November 8, 2019 3:48 PM

It looks the same coming out the other end.

by Anonymousreply 43November 8, 2019 4:16 PM

The Panda Express fried rice is crappy. I hate it when people say, "It's so easy to make home-made [blah blah blah]." But if a restaurant or fast food place can't get it right, then I'll say it. Fried rice is easy to make & way better than Panda. (Use leftover rice that's been in the freezer or fridge.)

Anyway, I tried the orange chicken and was pleasantly surprised. I heard the Beijing beef was good as well.

by Anonymousreply 44November 8, 2019 4:27 PM

Love the Olive Garden video, at least the Italians don't dismiss the food as total crap. Both of them are cute and charming.

I don't know OP, that pic you posted makes me crave Panda Express tonight. Maybe my fortune will say, "Try curbing those fat whore tendencies."

by Anonymousreply 45November 9, 2019 12:00 AM

No likey flied live?

by Anonymousreply 46November 9, 2019 12:06 AM

R41, Many copycats online for their orange chicken. Trader Joe's also sells it frozen and it's delicious.

by Anonymousreply 47November 9, 2019 12:20 AM

R46 No, me likey Wrong Wife Soup

by Anonymousreply 48November 9, 2019 2:57 AM

Their noodles are greasy and the fried rice is bland.

by Anonymousreply 49November 9, 2019 4:44 AM

PF Chang's is better.

by Anonymousreply 50November 9, 2019 6:26 PM

PF Chang's fried rice is better, but it is at a higher price point. It's also in a really nice location, not fast food and you have to tip the waiter.

So when I am at the mall, in a "I don't give a fat fuck" mood and want something fast, Panda Express really hits the spot.

I think the orange chicken at both PF Chang's and Panda Express is the same. PF Chang's has revamped their lunch menu and it sucks.

by Anonymousreply 51November 15, 2019 11:51 PM

I’m so glad I live in New York, where we have decent Chinese restaurants.

by Anonymousreply 52November 15, 2019 11:54 PM

Panda Express has shitty EVERYTHING.

by Anonymousreply 53November 16, 2019 12:01 AM

I actually like their super greens side and exclusively get that. Chow main makes you a fatty patty.

It’s all about that sweetfire chicken.

by Anonymousreply 54November 16, 2019 12:03 AM

My fortune cookie said "Try again".

by Anonymousreply 55November 16, 2019 12:20 AM

Oh I keep trying. My cell phone keeps lighting up.

by Anonymousreply 56November 16, 2019 12:28 AM

Where do you people live where you don't have actual Chinese restaurants?

by Anonymousreply 57November 16, 2019 12:49 AM

“Actual Chinese Restaurants” is so subjective. Usually the people working at our local Pandas are Asian. It’s not my favorite but it’s been better at some of the “actual” places I’ve been to.

Local smaller town Chinese places are just sugar fried chicken like Panda, and with more dubious quality control sometimes. Nothing exotic about it since it doesn’t match Linda’s palette, so the owners white it up. Same with Mexican food.

It’s not like I’m ordering roast duck and chicken feet with sesame balls at Panda Express.

by Anonymousreply 58November 16, 2019 12:55 AM

[quote]Local smaller town Chinese places are just sugar fried chicken like Panda

I must be eating in different places if that's your idea of Chinese food.

by Anonymousreply 59November 16, 2019 12:58 AM

I’ve never had Panda Express. There’s always been at least one decent neighborhood Chinese restaurant every place I’ve lived.
