I agree, but I always find it shocking people expect quality food from something with EXPRESS in their name. They are American fast food version of "Chinese" food.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 7, 2019 2:49 AM |
OP casually trying to inflame a race war, as one does on a Wednesday evening...
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 7, 2019 2:52 AM |
Yes Cuntface R2, by exposing Panda Express' shitty cardboard rice.
R1 Their orange chicken is top notch and quality.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 7, 2019 2:53 AM |
And they don’t use real pandas either.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 7, 2019 3:00 AM |
Thanks for hipping me to that, OP - you're a real life saver!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 7, 2019 3:02 AM |
I won't lie, I love their orange chicken. What really pisses me off about them is you practically have to beg for soy sauce. Do they think people want to eat their rice dry?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 7, 2019 3:05 AM |
Their Beijing Beef is good too.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 7, 2019 3:19 AM |
They have these chicken strips now that are delicious
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 7, 2019 3:22 AM |
Junk food, it hits the spot when you are in the mood for a greasy, fattening, salty meal
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 7, 2019 3:25 AM |
Panda was better when it was a smaller mall foodcourt chain.

It's mall food court Chinese food...of course it's crap.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 7, 2019 3:56 AM |
I've gotten food poisoning twice from this damn place. No more
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 7, 2019 3:59 AM |
I didn't know only fat whores ate Panda Express. So what's all the mediocre men doing there?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 7, 2019 4:01 AM |
Panda Express is the McDonalds of Chinese food. It's not even good fast food, yet everyone loves it.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 7, 2019 4:04 AM |
I'm sure they're crying all the way to the bank, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 7, 2019 4:10 AM |
Pre-made mall food, served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils from huge heated troughs that have been sitting for hours isn't haute cuisine?
I'm shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED at this news.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 7, 2019 4:11 AM |
I like their fortunes, they always tell me I am going to get rich....$$$
Orange chicken is ok, it's Chinese food, what do you expect OP? It isn't French haute cuisine.
Someone has been reading my Facebook posts, funny.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 7, 2019 4:34 AM |
[quote]Orange chicken is ok, it's Chinese food, what do you expect OP?
It's as much Chinese food as Olive Garden is EYE-Talian food.

FAT WHORES REJOICE!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 7, 2019 4:41 AM |
OMG, OP--I had just assumed their tacky chain mall outlets were four-star restaurants until now!
Please give us also your gourmet opinions of Chick-Fil-A and Burger King.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 7, 2019 4:42 AM |
OP, Not all Panda Express' food is the same. One near my home is packed with Asians as you can smell the garlic and ginger cooking as you walk through the door. So there's a very high turnover of all of the food. They're also not skimpy with the soy sauce or the portions.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 7, 2019 4:42 AM |
Their rice is nasty.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 7, 2019 6:08 AM |
You shouldn't be eating rice or noodles anyway.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 7, 2019 6:09 AM |
I don't have a problem with carbs, fatty.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 7, 2019 6:14 AM |
It's such a strange restaurant because everything is so fucking inconsistent from one franchise to the next, and even within the same franchise from one day to the next. Sometimes their food is great and it really hits the spot, other days I will stop by there and literally feel like I have been scammed when I get home and see what the food looks like.
One thing that is consistent is that their beef with broccoli is BULLSHIT. There is never any BEEF!
Overall thumbs down rating from me.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 7, 2019 6:22 AM |
Their egg rolls are crap as well.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 7, 2019 6:22 AM |
Always take the vegetable as a side instead of rice.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 7, 2019 6:28 AM |
I like their new Quarter-Pander

[quote] Fake Chinese food
You can order more authentic Chinese dim sum entrees such as shumai and turnip cake. They have a secret menu. You just have to pay with little red envelopes.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 7, 2019 7:16 AM |
r27 Their stores are all company-owned. They don't franchise.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 7, 2019 1:38 PM |
Bitch, I was joking. What you gotta be so mean? 😕
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 7, 2019 1:41 PM |
Their cream cheese rangoons are delicious. And, yes, I'm a fat whore.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 7, 2019 1:56 PM |
Panda Express is just about the only fast food I will eat. Never get the rice though...steamed veggies for me, with Beijing beef and black pepper chicken. Yum.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 7, 2019 2:24 PM |
I'll eat some fast food, but not that. Some of it's decent if you get it straight off the stove, but it gets gloppy and shoddy in about 50 seconds.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 7, 2019 2:32 PM |
That picture looks absolutely disgusting.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 7, 2019 3:46 PM |

my only experience war years ago for lunchtime carry out. About 3 hours later I felt like I was having a seizure at my desk. I figured it was the MSG excess. It was very flavorful and now I know why!
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 7, 2019 6:18 PM |
I want to know their orange chicken recipe.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 8, 2019 4:33 PM |
I'd rather eat at a $7 for 3 item combo type of fast food Chinese, than Panda. They give you a heaping amount of rice and/or noodles and you can get extra eggrolls, too -- feeds like 4 people for less than $10.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 8, 2019 4:48 PM |
It looks the same coming out the other end.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 8, 2019 5:16 PM |
The Panda Express fried rice is crappy. I hate it when people say, "It's so easy to make home-made [blah blah blah]." But if a restaurant or fast food place can't get it right, then I'll say it. Fried rice is easy to make & way better than Panda. (Use leftover rice that's been in the freezer or fridge.)
Anyway, I tried the orange chicken and was pleasantly surprised. I heard the Beijing beef was good as well.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 8, 2019 5:27 PM |
Love the Olive Garden video, at least the Italians don't dismiss the food as total crap. Both of them are cute and charming.
I don't know OP, that pic you posted makes me crave Panda Express tonight. Maybe my fortune will say, "Try curbing those fat whore tendencies."

R41, Many copycats online for their orange chicken. Trader Joe's also sells it frozen and it's delicious.

R46 No, me likey Wrong Wife Soup
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 9, 2019 3:57 AM |
Their noodles are greasy and the fried rice is bland.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 9, 2019 5:44 AM |
PF Chang's is better.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 9, 2019 7:26 PM |
PF Chang's fried rice is better, but it is at a higher price point. It's also in a really nice location, not fast food and you have to tip the waiter.
So when I am at the mall, in a "I don't give a fat fuck" mood and want something fast, Panda Express really hits the spot.
I think the orange chicken at both PF Chang's and Panda Express is the same. PF Chang's has revamped their lunch menu and it sucks.

I’m so glad I live in New York, where we have decent Chinese restaurants.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 16, 2019 12:54 AM |
Panda Express has shitty EVERYTHING.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 16, 2019 1:01 AM |
I actually like their super greens side and exclusively get that. Chow main makes you a fatty patty.
It’s all about that sweetfire chicken.

Where do you people live where you don't have actual Chinese restaurants?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 16, 2019 1:49 AM |
“Actual Chinese Restaurants” is so subjective. Usually the people working at our local Pandas are Asian. It’s not my favorite but it’s been better at some of the “actual” places I’ve been to.
Local smaller town Chinese places are just sugar fried chicken like Panda, and with more dubious quality control sometimes. Nothing exotic about it since it doesn’t match Linda’s palette, so the owners white it up. Same with Mexican food.
It’s not like I’m ordering roast duck and chicken feet with sesame balls at Panda Express.

I must be eating in different places if that's your idea of Chinese food.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | November 16, 2019 1:58 AM |
I’ve never had Panda Express. There’s always been at least one decent neighborhood Chinese restaurant every place I’ve lived.
