Star of The Sally Field Programme, of course!
I just love Sally.

As a young gayling, I had a huge crush on Carlos Ramirez.

I just want to hit something. I want to hit it hard. Well, not the age wall.

I think we should chip in a buy her a turban!

I've already sent her my birthday present, R8.

Okay, I sense the Gidget theme coming...

Did Susan Dey send her best wishes?

R11 Are you in doubt about angels being real?

I much preferred her Television Spectaculars. In living color!

I loved her as Celeste Talbert on The Sun Also Sets.

I read something once where the measure of celebrity was determined by asking which celebrity would you stand on a chair to see. For me it’s always been Sally Field.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 7, 2019 5:37 AM |
Well, she is pretty short and you would want to get a good view, so a chair might be required.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 7, 2019 5:41 AM |
My neighbor is good friends with Sally.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 7, 2019 6:05 AM |
Any anecdotes, R20?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 7, 2019 9:13 AM |
It's still the Sally Field Program, OP.
You worked very hard during the Program's tenure to rebrand it as 'Programme' but it never stuck. You were the only one using the British English spelling. Everyone knew it was ridiculous, but no one cared enough to say anything to you.
That ends today.
Let the Sally Field Program rest in peace. Enough is enough.

It has always been, and will always be, The Sally Field Programme.
I certainly didn't invent that, but that is what it's always been called here.

I just watched the pilot for The Flying Nun on Youtube. Seems like they ripped off some of the storyline from The Sound of Music.

Even as a child, I thought it was a thinly veiled attempt to combine Julie Andrews' two biggest hits: "The Sound of Music" and "Mary Poppins."

What a perspicacious child you were r26, that's *exactly* what it is!

At 4:30 of R25's post that is Shelley Morrison....later Rosario on Will & Grace.

Shelley Morrison is also on the right in the picture at R6.

She has had an amazing career and looks tremendous for her age.

Sally telling Johnny Carson she was having a nervous breakdown and being sent away just to get out of dating him, LOL.
