Poster on another thread questioned if they were trashy. They're highly rated for frozen dinners. I generally cook for myself but wanted an emergency option on hand. Generally eschew frozen dinners. Trader Joe's is not nearby.

I like them on occasion. They seem to be of good quality, especially the larger family meals such as the chicken picatta with which you add your own freshly cooked noodles or rice. Frozen doesn't automatically equate with trashy.

The Eggplant Parmesan is wonderful, especially if you take the time to cook it in the oven. I always have a couple of the individual serving ones in my freezer.
I don’t think the Chicken Parmesan ones are very good, the chicken tends to be tough but I’ve only done them in the microwave. They may be better cooked in the oven.

Second the eggplant, when baked in the oven. Delicious, it takes like my mother’s eggplant. Eat it on some warm crusty Italian bread for a real treat. Or, over plain spaghetti.

I remember the chicken alfredo being good.

I'm going to take DL's word for it and pick up the Chicken Piccata. I've always wondered about this brand.

better than average and hardly "trashy". This is "Banquet" or some other low end stuff. The eggplant parmesan is fine, although the eggplant could be more tender. The lasagna is a little better than Stouffers. I buy these when they're on sale.

Should be "isn't Banquet"

High sodium level in most of their foods. Not very heart healthy.

The lasagna is pretty good. So is the Chicken Parmesan.

Sodium is an issue in almost all processed food. Best bet is to actually cook once in awhile.
