I saw it a preview of it and it's really cute.

A preview as in a trailer or you went a screening of the full film. It looks highly questionable to me, but I like Elizabeth Banks and Stewart.

Anyway, I'm excited for tonight! I liked the last time Kristen hosted and hope they give her equally fun things to do tonight.

R16 I remember reading somewhere that cast members go through auditions when it comes to the political impersonations for the show and Lorne makes the final decisions. Kate is one of Lorne's favorites and I could see him picking her even if another cast member did a better job.

I love paint related skits, one of the best things in awhile, but why is Kristin just reading directly from cue cards?

I felt like the Colour sketch started strong with a zaniness that reminded me of the type of work Maya Rudolph would do, but they had no idea how to complete the sketch.

Coldplay's like U2, right? Where they're like... kind of forever stuck in an era, but they last because a good chunk of their audience is also stuck in that era. These songs Coldplay performed tonight were like... just their sound distilled... they're giving whoever loves them what they want. I've noticed that a lot of big acts just have fans, whether you know it or not.

The paint color sketch was really good, with zero help from Kristen Stewart, who needed cue cards for 4 lines.

I liked Coldplay. Certainly a lot better than the usual shit SNL Hhas as a musical guest.

Stewart is a charisma black hole. Who’s responsible for scheduling celebrities on SNL? Their own agents or publicists? Whoever keeps getting Stewart this gig should be fired. Her performances on SNL are always a reminder of how awful a performer she is.

It’s funny when people dunk on her for being emotionless in her regular movie roles, because it’s a hundred times worse when she’s actually trying to emote.

I thought she did much better her last time hosting. This time around it was almost like she took one too many bong hits before the show.

One of the worst episodes ever.

I thought it was the strongest show in a long time. The only weak part was the cold open, mainly because Warren is just not funny. Lorne knows the show will take a big hit if Trump loses.

I'm ready to declare Aidy Bryant the second funniest female cast member ever behind Gilda Radner. She delivers in every skit she's in. She should get an Emmy nomination for that paint skit.

You can tell that Pete is being punished by Lorne for missing the first two shows. He's had two lines the whole season so far.

What exactly is this Kristen Stewarts talent? I don't know her.

Pete never has many lines (thankfully), he just pops up on Weekend Update occasionally to give some meandering screed about pot and sex. I think he's sort of like a stray pet that the cast has adopted by this point, rather than actually earning his place on the show with any comedic talent.
