I got to see it for the first time on TNT.
So basically, it was the 2017 version of "Stand By Me," right?
Complete with the Gordie and Teddy characters, replaced with Bill and Richie.
Overall, I'd give it a "meh."

Well, that was certainly worthy of a new thread.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 28, 2019 8:06 PM |
IT was good, but my favorite movie about pronouns is THEM, followed by SHE.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 28, 2019 8:07 PM |
It was two years ago, so I missed the hype.
How was IT Part 2?
Was it worth seeing?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 28, 2019 8:08 PM |
At least R1 performed her obligatory duty, as being a MASSIVE CUNT.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 28, 2019 8:08 PM |
I liked IT.
R3 there are many IT Chapter 2 threads. I doubt you truly missed them all.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 28, 2019 8:10 PM |
The movie was long and boring.
Was IT 2 also long and boring?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 28, 2019 8:13 PM |
The TV mini-series with Tim Curry was so much more fun. And hotty Ben Heller played Stan.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 28, 2019 8:15 PM |
Brian Grazer's nephew was really good in this movie. He gave a great performance.
The lead was okay, but kind of dull.
The real standouts were Finn Wolfhard, and Jack Dylan Grazer.
They were both hilarious. I expect them to become breakout stars, when they get older.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 28, 2019 8:17 PM |
The standouts were Jack Dylan Grazer and Sophia Lillis.

Can someone explain to me what's up with Wyatt Oleff's forehead?
So strange for such a young kid to have such a big forehead.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 28, 2019 8:19 PM |
Of the entire cast, Wyatt Oleff strikes me as gay.
The rest of the cast seems pretty straight, but Wyatt definitely pings for me.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 28, 2019 8:20 PM |
Ummm some people have bigger foreheads.
Sometimes you people speak like every human on the planet ages the same, looks the same, has the same hairline etc. we are all different.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 28, 2019 8:21 PM |
Wyatt doesn’t ping at all in interviews. He’s posing for a photo shoot there. Feminine poses are normal in modeling these days.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 28, 2019 8:21 PM |
Dammit R13, I'm telling you his forehead is YUGE for a 16 year old!!!!!
Don't argue with me about it!!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 28, 2019 8:22 PM |
BECAUSE THAT IS HOW HIS HAIRLINE IS. AGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HAIRLINE HE RECEIVED.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 28, 2019 8:23 PM |
Jaeden Lieberher's father Wes, was on Diner's Drive-In's and Dives!
I remember him well, so I was actually surprised to find out that was Jaeden's father.
Although, they do look a lot alike.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 28, 2019 8:28 PM |
Jaeden Lieberher is a quarter Korean.
I knew it the minute I saw him, because he looks... "different."
I couldn't put my finger on it, until I googled him and found out that his mother is half Korean.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 28, 2019 8:34 PM |
Did he and his father have a falling out? Jaeden doesn't go by Lieberher anymore. He changed it to Martell
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 28, 2019 10:34 PM |
I think he goes by Martell now because it’s easier to remember and say for the public.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 28, 2019 10:37 PM |
I was wondering the same thing, R21.
Interesting that he seems to have embraced his mother's name, even though on the movie credits, he's listed as Lieberher.
Something must have happened in the past couple of years, because they seemed pretty close in this photo.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 28, 2019 10:37 PM |
Dad must be pissed that his son Jaeden has eclipsed him, in terms of stardom.
Jaeden is pulling in $500,000 a movie.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 28, 2019 10:39 PM |
Amazing that such a young cast, could pull off such a good movie.
They really are like the boys from "Stand By Me."
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 28, 2019 10:44 PM |
Well, OP, both "It" and "Stand By Me" were based on Stephen King novels, so there is that shared theme of childhood innocence lost.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 28, 2019 10:45 PM |
I think Jaeden gave a great performance (especially in the scenes dealing with his brother), that got unjustly overshadowed by the showier perfomances of the fan favorites (Finn, Jack).
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 28, 2019 10:50 PM |
The frontal nudity shocked me.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 28, 2019 10:51 PM |
I found Finn annoying.
I loved Jack and Sophia.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 28, 2019 10:51 PM |
There was no frontal nudity R28, you idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 28, 2019 10:51 PM |
I thought Jaeden was very good in part one. Despite looking somewhat similar, James McAvoy was terrible casting as the adult version of the character.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 28, 2019 10:53 PM |
R30, I know I’ve seen their dicks somewhere. Maybe it was a sex tape.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 28, 2019 10:55 PM |
All I know is that Bill Skarsgard is HOT!
I had no idea that he was the clown.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 28, 2019 10:55 PM |
Jaeden outacted James in their scene together in Part 2
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 28, 2019 10:55 PM |
Bill is so much sexier than his older brother....
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 28, 2019 10:56 PM |
Probably the unedited version of this, r32:
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 28, 2019 10:58 PM |
Jack May be a jackass in real life but he’s also very funny
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 28, 2019 11:00 PM |
Who's Jack?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 28, 2019 11:01 PM |
Jack Dylan Grazer = Eddie
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 28, 2019 11:02 PM |
Oh thanks, R39.
So did Bryan Grazer help his nephew get the job?
He's actually a pretty good actor, but there must have been some kind of nepotism, right?
Also, I'm shocked that Bryan Grazer is worth $400 million.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 28, 2019 11:05 PM |
People on here believe his uncle helped him but Jack went through the audition process like all the rest and won the role, rightfully so, as we all saw he was great.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 28, 2019 11:09 PM |
He was good but I thought he was the weakest of the kid actors.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 28, 2019 11:11 PM |
I disagree. I felt he was the strongest minus Beverley.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 28, 2019 11:12 PM |
Haha Wes Lieberher is actually shorter than Guy Fieri.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 28, 2019 11:18 PM |
FACK is real.
Omg, they're worse than One Direction.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 28, 2019 11:53 PM |
They’re Hollywood kids. They are different.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 28, 2019 11:54 PM |
Finn Wolfhard's band Calpurnia is actually not half bad.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 28, 2019 11:59 PM |
Jack Dylan Grazer is literally his character in "It."
What. a. spazzzzz.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 29, 2019 12:04 AM |
He was a dick to Ransone.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 29, 2019 12:06 AM |
Out of all the kids on the show, I think that Finn Wolfhard is going to become the biggest star.
At first, I thought he was really dorky looking and not really attractive.
But when you see him off camera, he has a really good personality, and he seems to be fairly well rounded with being an actor and a musician.
He's definitely the one to watch, in the future.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 29, 2019 4:00 AM |
Finn Wolfhard can’t act outside of being a smartass.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | November 7, 2019 4:39 PM |
The first one was OK but the second movie was a meandering mess.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 7, 2019 4:47 PM |
Is that a real picture at R53?
Jack Dylan Grazer looks uncomfortable at being kissed by Jaeden.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | November 7, 2019 6:14 PM |
They’re kids growing up in Hollywood. They’re pumped with liberal hoopla from young.
This is normal with young Hollywood kids these days, even if straight, to be touchy and affectionate with one another.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 7, 2019 7:46 PM |
Maybe its just a young kids thing instead of a Hollywood thing.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | November 7, 2019 11:53 PM |
[quote] Is that a real picture at [R53]?
Yes, JDG posted it on his IG story.
[quote] Jack Dylan Grazer looks uncomfortable at being kissed by Jaeden.
Which his funny, because usually he's the one who initiates this kind of stuff.

On the one hand it's a generational thing, but with these actor kids the fact that they know how wild their fangirls go over anything remotely homoerotic probably plays into it as well.
