I distinctly recall both Swinton and Turner (see link) getting shat on, with Turner rarely and Swinton fairly regularly. So that takes them both out of the running, unfortunately. Same goes for Maggie Smith, Judy Davis, Patrick Stewart, Eva Green... if you can believe it. All gems, the lot of them! I even recall someone counting on John fucking Lithgow. Can you imagine?
Lisa Kudrow, perhaps?

Bea Benaderet was a loser. She was an unfunny third banana who could not carry her own show. Yes, she was guest starred in many classic sitcoms but she was comedy filler. She didn't have Eve Arden's withering looks or Lucy's physicality or Vivian Vance's believability. She was just available, apparently.

You couldn't be more wrong. She was the star of the long-running "Petticoat Junction," which Paul Henning created for her. When she died and June Lockhart replaced her as the "lady M.D.," the show went down the crapper.

Yes, and he deserved all the tributes. Terrific actor, although somewhat under-appreciated compared to his peers. I remember being surprised when Natalie Cole died and there was an outpouring of affection on DL and no one said anything nasty about her. Until then I'd had no idea so many gay people liked Natalie. I assumed she was strictly a hetero favorite.

The obsessive fan repeatedly suggesting the awful Lisa Kudrow deserves to be slapped viciously. Kudrow is an unfunny, one-note hack who somehow lucked out and ended up on a show that turned out to be extremely popular in spite of being bland, overrated, badly written rubbish. She and her tired schtick need to be sent into forced retirement. Even the sight of this hideous bitch is enough to make me lunge for the remote. Can't stand this shrill heifer.
