Did most of the original "Queer Eyes" more or less disappear after the show ended?

Carson was genuinely funny. I think it was America's first experience of that kind of gay humor.

Kyan tried to continue his TV career but it didn't work out and he went on a spiritual trip to the Himalayas or somewhere like that. Carson is a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race, and still funny, not sure what he did in between. Ted Allen is on Chopped as mentioned. Thom kept running his interior design business which I've heard is successful.

Carson was a regular TV guest for all the years before RPDR, as many of the others still are. It looks like Kyan is a regular contributor to Rachael Ray’s talk show. He looks very different now.

I always thought Thom and Jay were the hottest, and that's certainly true now. Kyan looked like your average WeHo trash, although he looks good now for his age.

Carson looks like he's quite the client of Dr. Botox-and-Fillers. Ewww.

Hairstylists can make money anywhere without being famehwores. Maybe that why Kyan didn’t keep working the fame angle.

I’m not surprised that Carson, Ted, and Thom still have successful careers.

R11, not true. A good colorist with a steady business can easily gross $250,000 a year.

Yeah I am shocked how much hairstylists can make - at least in NYC.. Maybe not Sport Cuts in Texas - but at a salon in a major city, he could make a good living,

Carson and Thom just recently did a show on Bravo or some cable network. Not sure if it's still on or got cancelled, though.

Thom hit me up on Grinder few yrs back. I live in High Point NC. He was in town for Furniture Market. I don't at all find him to be attractive.

We always thought that Thom was the most talented and Kyan the least, but the best looking. We met Jai on a gay cruise a few years back and he couldn’t have been nicer. I remember our excitement for the show and wish these 4 guys the best. They were groundbreaking for the time.
