Yes! I see Medusa when I look in the mirror. I will be buried in Versace.

Well, according to Ovid, Medusa was once a great beauty with golden hair. She was a priestess of Minerva (Athena) and took a vow of celibacy. However, the god Poseidon, overcome with lust for the beautiful maiden, raped her in the Temple of Minerva. Outraged at such desecration, Minerva punished Medusa by making her hideous, turning her golden hair into serpents, and, for added measure, cursing her from ever again enticing mortal men. Henceforth, any one who gazed upon the former beauty would turn into stone.
