My introduction to DEVO was the first time I slept over at a friend's house and his neighbor had a party and played their album "Freedom of Choice" on repeat all night.

I think my favorite Devo song is Jocko Homo, I played it a lot, at high volume, in college.

"Whip It" was their big hit single that propelled them into fame and fortune. I have it and love it. Eccentric.

Cover of Satisfaction on SNL in 1978. Brian Eno produced that album. We were all instant fans. The the B-52s in 79.

I saw them a several years ago when they did a nostalgia tour with Debbie Harry. Totally worth it.

Bump.
Great live concert video from 1980 (over an hour long).
(Around the 45-minute mark, the band has removed their jumpsuits and are now on stage wearing black muscle T's and short-shorts.)

Hate Devo.

They were disappointed with Weird Al's Devo style song, "Dare To Be Stupid".
