My introduction to DEVO was the first time I slept over at a friend's house and his neighbor had a party and played their album "Freedom of Choice" on repeat all night.

"Whip It" was their big hit single that propelled them into fame and fortune. I have it and love it. Eccentric.

Cover of Satisfaction on SNL in 1978. Brian Eno produced that album. We were all instant fans. The the B-52s in 79.

I saw them a several years ago when they did a nostalgia tour with Debbie Harry. Totally worth it.
