It's all opinion and conjecture. I have a black partner, and he's the most handsome and most desirable man that I've ever known. Guess what? He owns a home health agency, which deals with adults with developmental disabilities. I found out, not that long ago, that he even often sets up a place to spend the night, when one of his clients has to move into a new home. He just said that he figured it would be easier for them to face a familiar face, after moving elsewhere. He's a much bigger man than me, but he actually is rather petite. But he's fierce. Eh, it's alright. It's not doing anything I haven't seen before.

I love The Good Wife and The Good Fight, and I find the premise of Evil very intriguing, but so far, I find it pretty dull.

Colter is certainly handsome, though.

The best part of Evil is that science and religion are losing to tech nerd/handyman Aasif Manvi who finds all the terror to be caused by nothing more than a leaky pipe or a door that needs some WD40.

Pretty sure what Aasif does also counts as science / scepticism / rational thought. Psychology is just one branch of science, and one of the fuzziest ones at that.

But yes, I don't like that religion is portrayed as a possible explanation to... well, anything. It legitimises the Catholic worldview, which is a) bonkers and b) not the only religious worldview either in the US or abroad. This latest episode actually made me mad because they attempted to explain a child's problematic behaviour using the supernatural. People watching it could get the wrong impression that this is actually a viable alternative. That's exactly how we end up with conversion "therapy" for gay kids, or those "pray the gay away" efforts.

They pulled the same shit with sexual assault on The Good Fight, until the #MeToo movement forced them to finally take a position of not excusing the abusers under any circumstance. The Kings are a bit old at this point and don't have the best pulse on the culture anymore, I think.

I saw the last episode of Evil and was amazed at how good it was.

Me too. The possessed kid episode is the best of an already-incredibly good TV show. I felt like I was watching HBO or one of the best of the streaming Series. It feels like a short movie.
