This "hybrid" creature is not a good look and is on the loose in London.

Falcon?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 30, 2019 2:12 PM |
So in other words there’s a monster loose in the UK who’s name ISN’T Boris?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 30, 2019 2:12 PM |
It's weird looking. It has a cat's face, with an extra bit stuck on top.
But you can see that, lol.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 30, 2019 2:14 PM |
I think it's cute.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 30, 2019 2:31 PM |
Aww he’s adorable. We should start capturing them for domestication. I’d love to have one as a pet.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 30, 2019 2:32 PM |
‘E tugged on ‘er jumper right sharp.

"DL cute"
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 30, 2019 2:43 PM |
I disagree that it's "not a good look". Looks great. And face it, there are plenty of domestic cats that lunge at people. Cats are bastards. Might as well be mauled by one that really looks the business, than by something called Mr Fluffy.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 30, 2019 2:44 PM |
I reckon the only “mauling” that thing does is on rodents and other small varmints.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 30, 2019 2:49 PM |
If we had one of these back in my day it would have changed everything
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 30, 2019 2:52 PM |
The person that owns the cat might not want it back. I knew an older woman who bought one of these cats and it destroyed her house, like $20,000 destroyed. They are apparently highly intelligent and if not constantly stimulated just tear things apart. She gave it back to the breeder she brought it from. Apparently the 1:2 variety is harder to handle so the ones most breeders sell now are 1:4 or 1:8 Serval to make them more docile. The size decreases as more domestic cat is mixed in so it’s a trade off.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 30, 2019 3:22 PM |
The picture is of a serval, not a savannah cat. Savannah cats are only marginally larger than an average domestic cat and the dumb bitch in the story is exaggerating for attention.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 30, 2019 3:46 PM |
Are we quite sure this isn't Will Poulter on the prowl? OP's photo certainly looks like him.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 30, 2019 3:58 PM |
I love small domestic cats, but I sure as hell don’t want a serval or Savannah cat. Those things look scary as hell!😮
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 30, 2019 4:53 PM |
That's some major pussy!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 30, 2019 5:01 PM |
Savannah Cats are actually pretty cute, unique-looking creatures. There was a single Savannah Cat store that I knew in a fancy part of Corona, CA back around 09 or so... it was cool to watch their lithe bodies glide across the display window of the store, but I don't think anyone bought them and the store eventually closed down. I guess the novelty died down in general because I don't hear about them anymore. Seems like the upkeep on them's too much and they're no longer worth it.

Corona has "fancy parts?" News to me.

The poor thing in the OP's post is out looking for its chin.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 30, 2019 7:42 PM |
We would shoot it on sight before it kills any more birds or other innocent little citizens.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 30, 2019 8:03 PM |
Wikipedia says Savannah cats are as tame as domestic cats and that they have many beloved dog-like traits, such as being loyal to the owner and following him around.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 30, 2019 8:20 PM |
Didn't Neiman Marcus sell these in their Christmas catalog years ago?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 30, 2019 8:22 PM |
It's getting dangerous out there, with the Surrey Puma and Essex Lion!!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 30, 2019 9:32 PM |
Hayley Bieber must have left it there.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 30, 2019 9:35 PM |
Keep your fucking cats indoors.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 30, 2019 9:38 PM |
In America, a lot of people have guns. This freakture would probably have been dealt with by now.
Also in America, there are many animals that[bold] can KILL YOU.[/bold] This story would not freak them out.
In London this is not what people/we are used to.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 30, 2019 10:54 PM |
It sort of suffers from Llama face.

Check out the worried Doctor Mom. She is a anti-aging specialist and looks like she zapped herself a few too many times.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 30, 2019 11:25 PM |
She actually shot a video of it. It's in The Sun.

The cat she saw wasn't as freaky looking as OP's photo.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 30, 2019 11:32 PM |
I was interested in Bengal cats until I saw some at a pet shop. They are unbelievably active, bouncing in the cage as if on speed. Some seem practically uncontrollable.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | September 30, 2019 11:42 PM |
I think it's cute. We had our own feline on the loose a few days ago in a small town in France, it caused quite a ruckus!
by Anonymous | reply 36 | September 30, 2019 11:50 PM |
Awwww! Looks just like my Bootsie Gumdrop!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | September 30, 2019 11:56 PM |
Now, that’s what I call a bitch cat!
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 1, 2019 12:00 AM |
The cat is cute but why did these breeders name their kid after a porn studio??
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 1, 2019 2:53 AM |
It's is NOT cute, it's nasty looking...and dangerous.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 1, 2019 2:54 AM |
I suspect the poor cat was frightened by crazy anti-aging mom and her brood of strange-looking muppets.

So much money? I'm surprised there aren't breeding factories all over Britain.

I would NOT want to be the one to clean out that litter box!🤮

Dr Nirdosh go fuck yourself and deflate your lips while you’re at it. Go, kitty, go!

We are concerned about the helpless birds and other precious little citizens that are being tortured and killed by outdoor cats of all kinds.
In Australia or NZ they have the right idea - the have put a bounty on them!
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 2, 2019 9:48 AM |
R25 Made me laugh. Yes, apparently Bieber shelled out $35K for two of these hybrid cats for Hailey. I think people who get these as pets are creepy.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 2, 2019 10:47 AM |
R41 you describe yourself well.

There are lots of alley cats that do that too. Domestic cats come in all types, for every aloof one (and there are a lot of them) there are lots of 'follow me everywhere' cats.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 2, 2019 11:02 AM |
What kind of an asshole keeps a wild animal as a pet?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 2, 2019 11:04 AM |
All cats are wild animals.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 2, 2019 7:20 PM |
They will tear your house, and you, apart in minutes. While playing.
Get a dog, you'll be happier.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 2, 2019 11:01 PM |
R54 lol dramatic much?? Of course dogs have never been known to hurt people.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 3, 2019 1:14 AM |
This cat is like DLers -- harmless to most in real life but with an active dislike of fraus with small, annoying children.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 3, 2019 1:31 AM |
R54, not dramatic at all and sorry to shock your tender sensibilities. The truth about these hybrids is being hidden so folks will buy one at a huge ticket price. It's also cruel to the mother cat who is typically a short hair domestic, as the gestation for these animals exceeds the normal pregnancy gestatation for housecats. Either the kits are born prematurely, or the mother dies during birth - neither option is desirable and horrible breeders are willing to abuse the mothers in this way.
Finally, those little kittens grow up with wild instincts to piss mark their territory and are like a large housecat on steroids when it comes to activity levels. "Like a dog" isn't an exaggeration in terms of their extreme needs; so unless you're willing to sacrifice your peace and quiet, your furniture and your sanity, don't go there. Adopt a regular housecat.
