I bought the Pecan variety yesterday. I think I'm addicted.
Is it pronounced "pee-can" or "pee-con"

I bought the almond ones. You don’t get many for the price.

[quote]"Pecan" is from an Algonquian word variously referring to pecans, walnuts and hickory nuts. There are many variant pronunciations, some regional and others not. The most common American pronunciation is /pɪˈkɑːn/; the most common British one is /pɪˈkæn/. Unusually, there is little agreement in the United States, even regionally, as to the "correct" pronunciation.
You may as well pronounce it any way you'd like, because someone will always correct you.

I have become addicted to these from Dollar Tree. Almonds, Pecans, Walnuts, honey roasted peanuts and honey roasted sesame sticks. I am not sure 2.75 ounces for a dollar is that good of a deal but they sure taste good. I am nuts for them.
