Oh baloney, Madonna was never "plain". Added to that, she was slap dash great with makeup and hair AND she was a seductress.

What happened was anywhere between 500 million and a billion bucks, too much time on her hands, rich lady bad plastic surgery procedures, and I suspect recently drinking and some loneliness and delusions.

She was actually what Miley is trying to do now. Boring, untalented and thinking they just invented sexuality.

This thread will quickly devolve into a negative pile-on. But one of the many interesting aspects of Madonna is that she can look ordinary and similar to her siblings, and a moment later look like one of the most photogenic people of all time, which she is.

It really bothered me how HUGE her head looked in “who’s that girl”. She was like that big head girl that Chandler did not want to date on Friends. Plus the very dark eyebrows/bleach hair combination , yikes!

I think she certainly looked beautiful in “The Power of Goodbye” video. Great song, and the dark hair looks particularly good here.

I liked Madonna looks best right before and the first year of stardom, and then in 2007.

She started Open your Heart with a black pixie wig and then ripped it off for platinum. But It thought the black pixie was better.

Her "Like a Prayer" look was refreshingly beautiful, she looks best raven-haired.

R25, no need to be nasty. Her looks are fine, as least back in her heyday. Beauty is subjective. Madge's looks might not be the perfection that you desire, but she ain't ugly either.

She couldn't stop weight lifting. She should let herself gain a little weight and stop lifting so much. Having 0% body fat and loads of muscle is not sexy on a woman.
