Best celebrity books?

What are your favorite books by, or about celebrities? Which have the juiciest stuff?

I found Traci Lords' memoir, Underneath it All compelling. I later learned that a lot of people from her porn days say it's all lies, but I doubt that because she owns up to a lot of pretty rough stuff.

I also loved Fall to Piece by Scott Weiland's second wife, Mary. Take two bipolar drug addicts and stir. Weiland's own book isn't as good. I remember people saying he made up stories too - in his case about sexual abuse "to sell books," but I believe him.

Belinda Carlisle "Lips Unsealed"

It's incredible she's alive since she was still doing cocaine into the early 2000s reunion tours. She kept an apartment in Marina Del Rey long after she was married and had a son specifically to have a place to do coke.

Tallulah Bankhead, Barbara Peyton, and Elizabeth Taylor’s diet book “Elizabeth Takes Off”.

Patti Smith's 'Just Kids' is probably my favourite.

Gloria Swanson's "Swanson on Swanson" is an epic read but quite fascinating.

I liked Ellen Burstyn's memoir. Anjelica Huston's were well written and quite juicy.

Also Courtney Love's book 'Dirty Blonde' is like a memoir in the form of a coffee table book, featuring pictures and art, essays and letters, diary entries, poetry... it's a really beautifully compiled book. I wouldn't mind seeing more celebrities take this route rather than yet another 'from cradle to tomb' ghostwritten autobiography.

Mommie Dearest is slanderous trash!

Boy George's Take It Like A Man was dishy and a lot of fun. I liked Allison's and Belinda's as well. A Paper Life was good...hope I haven't summoned the Tatum troll by saying that.

Wiliams Friedkin's autobiography is a very entertaining read.

R4 I love the time Patti went on a date with a skeevy guy because she was so broke and hungry that she needed to eat. She was walking back from it knowing she was going to have to fuck him and ran into Robert and proceeded to hug and kiss him saying that he was her boyfriend and without missing a beat he played along.
