What body wash do you use?

Just body wash, don't post if you use bar soap.

[post redacted because linking to dailymail.co.uk clearly indicates that the poster is either a troll or an idiot (probably both, honestly.) Our advice is that you just ignore this poster but whatever you do, don't click on any link to this putrid rag.]

The one I'm using now is citrus and some herb. The company donates to Water Aid. I usually prefer a marine type fragrance but it's fine.

Bar soap is gross, R6. We all now know about you that you have soap goo stuck to your soap holder and soap crud stuck all over you!

by Anonymousreply 8August 26, 2019 2:42 PM

Bar soap is like school on Sunday....

by Anonymousreply 9August 26, 2019 2:47 PM

Softsoap pomegranate mango - nice lather, but smells AMAZING! Really invigorating in the a.m. Bar soap is for shower fapping.

by Anonymousreply 10August 26, 2019 2:51 PM

r2 - I use the baby version - unscented. Gets mama's mussy squeaky clean and ready for anything!

by Anonymousreply 11August 26, 2019 2:51 PM

Irish Spring. Manly, yes, but I like it, too.

by Anonymousreply 12August 26, 2019 2:51 PM

Body wash is for brain dead millennials who think bar soap is germy. Or worse, old-fashioned.

Imagine being so stupid as to buy a soap cut with water that you use ... in water!

Like I said, brain dead.

Suave strawberry shampoo as body wash. Cheap and I smell great!

by Anonymousreply 19August 26, 2019 3:16 PM

Or, r19, great and you smell cheap.

by Anonymousreply 20August 26, 2019 3:17 PM

R13, was that really necessary?

Bar soap leaves soap scum and hard water stains in the shower- Body wash does not.

by Anonymousreply 23August 26, 2019 3:29 PM

Why do the dumbest threads have to be repeated every so often? We're about a month away from October. When will the new "what's your favorite horror movie" thread pop up UHGAIN!?

by Anonymousreply 24August 26, 2019 3:30 PM

I still use a bar of soap in my hand (any cheap brand). I find body washes useless; my skin is oily and I really need to into all the nooks and crannies.

by Anonymousreply 25August 26, 2019 3:31 PM

You have really big nooks and crannies, R25, if a bar of soap will fit into them.

Eeeeek!

The last body wash vs bar soap war wasn't that long ago:

What R23 said. Promotes mould growth as well.

Bar soap kicks puppies, causes eyeball cancer, and voted for Trump.

by Anonymousreply 29August 26, 2019 3:42 PM

Zest Ocean Breeze body wash.

by Anonymousreply 30August 26, 2019 3:48 PM

What is mould?

by Anonymousreply 31August 26, 2019 3:48 PM

That's Philip Mould. He's an art dealer in the UK.

R16 are you old enough to remember the original Lifebuoy scent?

by Anonymousreply 36August 26, 2019 4:11 PM

I love Cusson's Imperial Leather bar soap (red wrapper) so when I saw a giant bottle of it in liquid form, I bought it. Totally different scent!

by Anonymousreply 37August 26, 2019 4:12 PM

Millennials would really go for sheep dip. Plenty liquid-y for ‘em. Won’t leave soap scum if can cut lanolin!

I have an allergy to most scents - my skin literally goes on fire. The only liquid soap I can use is Dr. Bronners unscented. Luckily Dove makes an unscented deodorant that is hypoallergenic and fragrance-free.
