She was on the first season Survivor and had a brief film career. She moved behind the camera and produced a talk show, but left the entertainment industry. What happened to her?

She apparently just wanted to live a private life. She didn't want to be associated with the show or showbiz any longer.

R3 Is correct. She works a regular 9-5 job and has totally moved on from Survivor, entertainment and being in the public eye.
They have asked her several times over the years to play again on Survivor and her answer is always a resounding no.

She married a guy that's a musician and has two with him. They live in NYC.
I think this is the most recent picture of her online. And it's from 6 years ago.

R3 Did she ever give a reason why?

Not everyone wants to be in the limelight. She was very young when she did Survivor and probably just quickly realized she didn’t like the trappings of celebrity. Plus it seems like there’s a “cool” Survivor club of ex-players that would be exhausting to deal with (Boston Rob, Pavarti, Malcolm, Ozzy - basically all of Jeff Probst’s alpha favorites.)

People realized the difference between "cute" and "movie-star cute". And also, her acting debut was in the Rob Schneider shitfest "The Animal".

R10 She was very flat as an actress.
Still, making the jump from a reality show directly to being the female lead in a $50 million budgeted wide-release studio film was pretty impressive. Only other reality star who has come close to that is Kelly Clarkson (who technically starred in a wide release studio film, but From Justin to Kelly was very low budget).
She probably could have made a couple hundred thousand more (at least) from doing a few more tv guest spots and media appearances, but I guess she really wanted out.
