R9, he’s not lip syncing there. But back in 2004, when he sang live, he did not sound like how he sounded on his albums. He sounded much more bright and nasally. I saw him live at the Tacoma Dome and live on TV, and I thought for sure he had a ghost singer on his album.

I think it’s because he’s a skinny white Jewish guy.

If he were black, his sexual lyrics would sound more organic to his R&B stylings.
