I spilled many seeds over Steve Martin when I was a youngin' -- but I've always been into silver daddies.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 19, 2019 8:45 PM |
That ugly hot Spanish dude.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 19, 2019 8:46 PM |
Geoffrey Rush. Ugly man but there’s just something fuckable about him.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 19, 2019 8:46 PM |
I have a friend who saw Steve Martin in person and she said he was hot.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 19, 2019 8:47 PM |
R2, Javier Bardeen is super sexy.
Also Benicio del Toro.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 19, 2019 9:14 PM |
James Woods was always ugly. Uglier still with his Trump love.

Noah Emmerich late of the TV show the Americans
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 19, 2019 9:34 PM |
Yeah I'm sorry, but Steve Martin is and always was pretty hot. Great smile, a twinkle in his eye, hairy chest...what's not to love?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 19, 2019 9:41 PM |
Leo.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 19, 2019 9:41 PM |
I'm another who found Steve Martin hot as a kid/teen. He first caught my attention at age 9 when Parenthood came out, but it wasn't until Father of the Bride two years later that my crush for him was really cemented.

Was Jack Nicholson ever considered attractive?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 19, 2019 9:43 PM |
Jack Nicholson is a good fit for this thread. He's not traditionally attractive, but I wouldn't mind if he threw me a fuck back in the 60's or 70's. There's that devilish quality in his eyes that lets you know he'd be a good lay.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 19, 2019 9:46 PM |
By whores, r13.

Isn’t Steve Martin conventionally good-looking?
Even features, square jaw, good skin, great hair.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 19, 2019 9:57 PM |
The 70s appear to be the heyday of unconventional looking leading men. Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, Nicholson, Walken etc. In the 90s you sort of saw a resurgence with William H.Macy, Phillip Seymor Hoffman, and Kevin Spacey among others.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 19, 2019 9:59 PM |
I suppose comic actors aren't supposed to be thought of as good looking although many of them are. Jason Sudekis and Chevy Chase were both quite handsome in their early days. I've often thought Jack Black would have been, too, if he'd lost some weight. He has beautiful skin.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 19, 2019 9:59 PM |
I've often heard that agents and managers advise aspiring comic actors to gain weight or not take too much care in their appearance, because people don't know how to laugh at someone who's hot/sexy and funny. Being hot and funny is bad for business. People like to laugh at more relatable people.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 19, 2019 10:02 PM |
Yes, R21 - because agents are wise. They’re just wise!
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 19, 2019 10:08 PM |
R20 he was pretty cute when he was younger. See link.
Add John C. Reilly to the list.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 19, 2019 10:11 PM |
I think Robert DeNiro is ugly. I hate that big mole on his cheek. Del Toro has beautiful eyes. Same with Terrence Howard but apparently he is awful.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 19, 2019 10:23 PM |
I agree DeNiro - and Dustin Hoffman. Odd, short, unsexy. And not really that charismatic. Never got how they ended up with 40 year careers.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 19, 2019 10:28 PM |
R19 Macy and PSH were not leading men in the 2000s.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 19, 2019 10:37 PM |
Leslie Nielsen
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 19, 2019 10:46 PM |
Gene Wilder and Gene Hackman
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 19, 2019 10:53 PM |
I hate James woods but he was very attractive in the 80s
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 19, 2019 10:54 PM |
Klaus Kinski
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 19, 2019 10:57 PM |
On what planet is Leslie Nielsen unattractive?
Here is the young version. He later ripened to a nice silver daddy. I think people keep getting crossways because of the buffoons he played later in his career.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | August 19, 2019 11:02 PM |
Robert DeNiro in Heat, hot.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 19, 2019 11:07 PM |
Leslie Nielsen is another good example of a very attractive man who history has rewritten as unattractive simply because he was also a comedic genius.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 19, 2019 11:21 PM |
He has aged now but lawyer Mark Geragos always had that "ugly handsome" thing going - old Hollywood actor George Sanders did also ...and James Gandolfini.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 19, 2019 11:35 PM |
Count me as another who has always found Steve Martin attractive. He was a high school football player and has always had a nice body.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 19, 2019 11:39 PM |
No movie actors have "Charisma".
You can't even say what charisma is.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 19, 2019 11:52 PM |
R38 Most people know when they see it.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 19, 2019 11:55 PM |
I'm shocked and intrigued by all these guys who lusted after Steve Martin, maybe there should be a thread dedicated to unconventional objects of one's affection growing up?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 20, 2019 12:01 AM |
Steve Martin is attractive, op is an idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 20, 2019 12:05 AM |
R39 I can't see 'charisma' in any of the hacks mentioned so far.
Yes, Steve Martin was cute but not 'charismatic'.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 20, 2019 12:06 AM |
I love John Malkovich, when he is on screen, I just want to watch him.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 20, 2019 12:06 AM |
R40 you might be the anomaly. Steve Martin was conventionally good-looking.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 20, 2019 12:07 AM |
Donal Logue, Michael Keaton, Joaquin Phoenix
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 20, 2019 12:12 AM |
Humphrey Bogart
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 20, 2019 12:12 AM |
Although I find both annoying, Steve Buscemi and Paul Giamatti fit the bill. Paul Giamatti was funny on 30 Rock. Steve Buscemi was not.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 20, 2019 12:58 AM |
"Isn’t Steve Martin conventionally good-looking? "
No, he's conventionally okay-looking. He had features that were regular but not handsome, and a bod that was always decent rather than gorgeous, the only thing that made him stand out physically was his prematurely gray hair. There was nothing objectional about his looks, but nothing about him was beautiful either. He always struck me as the sort of man I look for in real life, bright and funny and not physically unattractive, but without any of the drama that comes with beauty.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 20, 2019 5:00 AM |
Sean Penn has always had a great body, though, even in the early 80s, so I'm not sure he counts. If you meet him it's the first thing you notice about him.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 20, 2019 5:36 AM |
Ben Stiller.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 20, 2019 5:38 AM |
Definitely Jared Harris
by Anonymous | reply 54 | August 20, 2019 5:40 AM |
John Lithgow for sure. Equally talented in drama and comedy.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 20, 2019 6:09 AM |
This guy. He's a big action star in Indonesia and is the lead in Netflix Wu Assassins--which is very good, btw. He's a small guy but kicks ass. He reminds me of an Asian Jeremy Renner.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 20, 2019 6:18 AM |
Jackie Chan.
At least when he was young.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 20, 2019 6:24 AM |
R49 who made you the arbiter of male beauty?
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 20, 2019 6:29 AM |
R58 Who made who the arbiter of charisma?
None of the males mentioned so far exude charisma.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 20, 2019 10:50 AM |
Steve Martin was more sexy than conventionally handsome. I lusted after him when younger. And he seemed very flexible. One wondered what he could get up to in bed.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 20, 2019 11:03 AM |
James Gandolfini

I never found him to be attractive in the least until R64 's pic. He does look handsome with a beard and long dark hair.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | August 21, 2019 8:25 AM |

DiCaprio. I thought he looked like a rat even in his Titanic days, and now he looks like a puffy rat. But damn, he's charismatic on film.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 21, 2019 7:46 PM |
I think Steve Martin was extremely handsome when he was younger. Also, hung - packing a 8 incher!!! Planes, trains and automobiles is one of my favorite movies - he was stunning in that!!!
by Anonymous | reply 72 | December 1, 2019 6:12 PM |
James Gandolfini was a mesmerizing actor but not at all good looking. He made what he had work for him, though.
Apparently super-nice off-set.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | December 1, 2019 6:17 PM |
I’m embarrassed to admit that as a young teen I spanked it to James Woods several times in the early 80s. He was sleazy hot.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | December 1, 2019 6:26 PM |
Gene Hackman, for sure. The standards for good-looking men were near-impossible when he was young (eg, Paul Newman) but he always had a craggy, authentic sexiness. And he kept it as he matured.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | December 1, 2019 6:31 PM |
Dabney Coleman. Was it just me or was he really hot in the 70's and 80's? I always wished I was Dolly Parton in 9 to 5 so he could pin me against a desk and fuck me.

by Anonymous | reply 86 | December 2, 2019 12:45 AM |
Tony Shalhoub, when relatively young, had the sexy Lebanese thing going on. Apparently well hung.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | December 2, 2019 12:50 AM |

You said "charismatic."
Never mind.
by Anonymous | reply 88 | December 2, 2019 12:53 AM |
Tom Wilkinson.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | December 2, 2019 12:56 AM |
I wonder if Steve Buscemi ever was considered for a part as the romantic lead.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | December 2, 2019 1:22 AM |

The majority of male French actors, including but not limited to, the likes of Daniel Auteuil and Gérard Dépardieu. There are a few exceptions, eg Bénoit Magimel and Thierry L'Hermitte, but basically it's been downhill with no brakes since Alain Delon.
The women, on the other hand, are nearly always bombshells.
Vive la France!
