Lip Balm
As a gay man, do you use lip balm? What brand do you use? Is there such a thing as lip balm trends? How often do you apply it, and do you do so in front of other people? Do you have different lip balms for different occasions? Do you prefer the stick lip balm, or the kind that requires you to dip a finger into it?
If you're straight, bi, or a Lesbian, please identify yourself as such so we know what we're dealing with. And if you're queer, nonbinary or "other", please go to Twitter or Reddit.

I've used this Whole Foods lip balm for years. Cheap, effective, and nice flavors.

How gay is it to wear satiny lip balm?

I'm gay and wouldn't use Lip Balm anyone more than Body Wash, which is a con job. Use soap, guys.

I like to use it under the belief it is a moderate barrier to herpatic shedding by others.
So I blow with both confidence and a sense of security.

I use Jack Black, but pretty much only in the winter. Don’t really get dry lips except for the winter.

I use this and apparently a lot of other people do too. Very creamy, absorbs quickly, all natural.

There's a difference between lip gloss and lip balm. Aquaphor is the only correct and authentic lip balm. It forms a protective seal over your lips and contains bisabolol to soothe any irritation. There's no tint whatsoever. Lip gloss comes in colors (tints ) and is essentially designed for whores.

For a lip scrub, use some kosher salt mixed with coconut oil. Small circular motions then rinse off. Follow with Lip Balm of choice.

I use Dr Organic Manuka Honey lip balm during the day as it's got SPF in it and Argan 5's lip cream at night. The latter is too shiny for daytime use. I have Angelia Jolie-style lips so need regular lip treatments!

I used to use lip balm, either Carmex or Blistex, until I read somewhere that it provides temporary relief but ultimately leaves the lips even more dehydrated. The point was that "the more you use it, the more you have to use it."
After that, I began using just the teeniest dab of Vaseline (or store brand petroleum jelly). It's been doing a fine job for a decade or more, at a fraction of the cost.

I don't see how people can use the lip balm where you have to dip your finger into it, like Carmex. It leaves you with a greasy finger and who knows what else unless you just washed your hands. And then you have to wash your hands again.

R31 they sell it by the tubes too. You get a little more though if you pay for the disc of it. For convenience, I buy the tubes but I only use lip balm in the winter. Every day after shaving, my upper lip gets a little chafed and I use Vaseline on it.
